Countryway Golf Club
Played On 01/25/2018If we’re talking strictly about course conditions, then I give it 4 Stars. The greens roll fair and aren’t too patchy. Some holes are worse than others but most of them aren’t bad. The tees are nice and the fairways are lush but roll. But if we’re talking about everything else, this was one of the worst rounds I may have ever played. WARNING DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE ON A THURSDAY. I have no idea why golf now would ever let me book a tee time 10’minutes after a huge league goes out. I understand it is an executive course but that’s all the more reasons to not allow play after those leagues. This course barely breaks 3000 yards on the entire 18 and it took me nearly 4 1/2 hours to play 14 holes. I didn’t even finish my round because daylight was running low, and I honestly was just tired of waiting. I really wish I hadn’t have used my promo code on this. Pace of play by everyone Was so slow. I would spend about 5-10 minutes on each hole and 20 minutes waiting for the next two groups to tee off on the next hole after we finished the previous hole. It was a complete waste of one of my promo codes and unfortunately I don’t think I will ever return to this course. There was no one monitoring anything going on on the course. Some of the holes didn’t even break 100 yards, but there were a couple of decent holes. I’m not trying to completely trash this course because like I said, it was half way decently kept, but my experience of my round was completely unsatisfactory.
