I play almost twice a week at this course ( Creek side/Hillside) and I am constantly facing the problem at back 9 where other golfers join from Hillside from Diablo. It really slows the pace down specially when course management allow fivesome of seniors.

I usually book first tee time at 6:00 am so that I could finish my 18 holes in 3 hrs. I request the management to look into how can they make it smoother for golfers who start early in the morning to finish their round in 3 hrs.
Here is some suggestion:
Start the Diablo round at 8:00 am instead of 7:00 am or keep Diablo as 9 holes course only for seniors so that they can enjoy the course at their pace without creating a backlog at the course.

Me and my friend booked the tee time of 4:00 pm and we played 18 holes in 3 hrs with no wait time as there was literally no one at the course except us. It was fun playing as there was no rush and no wait with perfect weather.

I had a chance to play at this course yesterday. I was lucky to get a deal at GolfNow for only $12.00. You cannot beat the price for an 18 holes golf course but the unfortunate part of this deal is that the course is not maintained by management. It is definitely better than few months back but I think that if the management commit themselves they can do a better job specially when there is only 2 courses left in the neighborhood.

I planned to play a round of Golf on windy day assuming that there will no other golfer but when I reached to the course it was full and ProShop guy asked me to start at back 9. I played few holes at a very nice pace but then I got stuck back with 3 foursomes. I had to skip few holes to get going. I would says it was not a bad day. The greens are fast with Bermuda grass.

This was my first time at this course. I was very excited as I drove almost an hour to be there. Two things I noticed that were very frustrated. One was pace of the game was very slow and there were not enough gap between teams of 4. We had to wait 10 to 10 minutes after every short which really kill the momentum and we lost the charm of playing at this course. I even called the office to send Marshall so that he could ask the people to keep reasonable pace of play but unfortunately no one showed up. We finished 18 holes in more than 5 hours. Usually with a regular pace it is around 3.5 to 4 hrs. I think the office loaded too many player with very little gap. On par 3 holes some time 3 groups of people were waiting to tee off like 12 people. I am sorry to say that me and my friend were very diappointed.
