Not too long, but plenty of scenic views, and challenging shots. The staff was very helpful. It is quite a distance from the golf shop to the 1st tee, (600 yards), and quite a climb from one tee to the next, so walking wouldn't have been a reasonable idea for us, but the golf course was wonderful.

The course was busy but moved well, we teed off after lunch on a Monday and had a wonderful experience with another couple visiting the course. While not a extremely manicured property, it was very nice with a good layout. The green were not too big and not too fast.

Just 21 days after a hurricane strength windstorm hit the area, the golf course was open and playable! The staff and volunteers and tree service not only cleared almost 400 damaged trees but cleaned and mowed all faiways, and greens. They were certainly slower than normal, but still smooth. Its a great layout which is still plenty tough, or easy, depending on which tees you use. Play it often

The greens were very good and very fast, especially if you were on the wrong side of the cup. We had a great time and the weather was perfect. For a public course this was the best value of our trip! Really friendlyy staff and good GPS on the carts. right at 4 hours on a Friday morning seemed perfect.

My first time in Utah this course was links style.very good greens, and very large will lots of mounding. Some of the fauirways were rough, probably late season trouble. Club house was beautiful and pro shop well apppinted. Very friendly with great food service, too. I would highly recommend it.

After having played another nice course the day before, and really being disappointed with the grass growth on the greens for that course, Chimera was a real treat! Not only were the greens and faiways perfect, but the rough and waste areas were very well manicured, too! We played the 6000 yard tees which made it very enjoyable without making it easy, but there was plenty of difficulty and hazards if you went looking for them. Overall it was a great experience and i would definitely play it again!

made this Sunday pm tee time on Saturday, running late when we arrived and still got off without a hitch. Play was smooth going, interesting and different holes, with challenging pars from the tips. Thankfully the greens were not as fast as they could have been - lots of slopes. Golf carts are old and noisy gas.
