This is a really fun and enjoyable course to play. We come to Cleveland a couple of times per year to play golf and we always play Manakiki. Greens were in excellent condition and the course was in good shape. Challenging layout but what else would you expect from a Ross course? Another real positive is they have hardly changed a thing since Ross's original design. Tough but fair and always enjoyable to play!!

And to think this golf course almost went under 10-12 years ago! This is a great golf course and one of my favorite courses anywhere, and I've played a lot of great courses. We play it every time we come to the Pinehurst area and you shouldn't miss it either. It's one of the most demanding 6100 yard courses (tips are longer) that you will ever play. The green complexes are just wonderful and demand excellent short play - not unfair but beautifully designed. One of Donald Ross's early golf courses - 1906. Course was in good shape and with a 15 mph wind it was a brute that day. Greens were fast and smooth. Fairways were generous but as typical with a Ross course it demands an excellent short game. This is no pushover. Don't miss it!

I play Southern Pines every time we go to Pinehurst. One of Donald Ross's oldest course designs and the original layout appears to have hardly changed at all over the years. A real classic and a blast to play. Great greens, great conditions on a perfect day weather-wise. It doesn't get much better than that.

Really loved the course, great layout, very good condition. The ONLY complaint we had was the bunkers which were not very well maintained. Other than that it was a really good time. We will be back. The price was outstanding for the course you got to play.

I love the layout, lots of well-designed holes. The fairways were long and shaggy, the ball often sat down in the grass, and the rough was ridiculous. I lost two, count them two, balls that were no more than 1-2 yards off the fairway in the rough. I couldn't find them despite looking for a long time. Like I said, ridiculous! The greens were choked with poa annua as well and were fair at best, quite slow. Numerous bunkers were in bad shape. I am a low handicap player and was very disappointed in the condition of the course. If it was maintained better, this would be an excellent course.

Otter Creek is one of my favorites to play in Indiana. Very straightforward, challenging, well-designed which has served as the venue for many state amateur championships - and I can see why! The North-West combo is great and especially the West nine which has three or four outstanding par fours. Highly recommend it, course was in great shape.
