This is a fine Golf Course. The staff is exceptionally helpful. I will return the next time I'm in Northern Virginia.

This one of the best course layouts and conditions I've played. Highly recommended. When you hit an errant shot, just look at the rich scenery.

Although it rained all day, the course was playable. ... Good drainage of fairways and greens. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

It was a very hot day. Weather had been very dry. The courrse is in great shape. ...good watering. A challenging course . ...will definitely return.

This is my first round at Willow Creek. The staff were cordial welcoming us to SC. The weather of excellent for a Feb. day. The course was crowded but play went well. Our play was slow on a few holes because we were unfamiliar with the course. There was no course layout available and several holes were "blind" and several were "cart path only". It was necessary to pick-up after any double bogey. The day was a pleasure. I plan to visit again in the Summer.

Considering that this course had flooding rains over several weeks, it was in good condition. There was major damage to several holes and fairways were wet, HOWEVER thanks to the crews and well established grass, the course play was good. This is an excellent course with rolling fairways and fast greens. Staff was excellent. Highly recommended. Will definitely return to the Grove Park.

Our twosome arrived a half-hour early, and we were sent to the back nine. Not another sole anywhere around us. ...The back nine had plenty of golfers, but there was not a singly delay from hole to hole. The course is moderately difficult, but in "perfect' condition. This good round was topped with courteous course workers and Clubhouse staff... and good weather. We will surely return to this course.

This is an interesting course with fairly good maintenance. It has mostly generous fairways and greens. There a few small greens and a couple of short par 3s. The fairways are hilly with some blind landing points and greens. It was a very enjoyable round. I recommend this course due to its uniqueness

We had wet weather on 11 holes of this tricky course. The course is short but interestingly challenging. Staff was helpful regarding safety during stormy weather. Course fairways and greens drain well considering heavy downpours.
Definitely will return with better weather conditions.

This is a unique course with lush, rolling green fairways. As first-time players of this course the pathway from tee-to-tee was sometimes confusing since two course inner-twine. Often greens were not visible from the tee and a couple of times after the first shot on par 3s. It is an enjoyable layout on a well-maintained course. I shot about 10 over my handicap. ...Hope to do better next time now that I know where the hazards are.

It was a good day at Cummings Cove. The greens are "professional". It is still early for the fairways to completely green-up. Staff is courteous and as well as players.

We were behind notorious slow players who play almost daily....as admitted by the starter. There are no marshalls.

I like the course layout. The course has been closed for over a year and not maintained. The greens are in poor condition due to lack of maintenance over the past year. I am glad that Clegman has reopened and look forward to playing it again when maintenance has brought it up to good condition.

This course should be on the must-play list for any 20 or better handicapper. The greens have not completely recovered from aeration and the design of 12th ??? hole with the creek weaving though various landing areas is very unusual. It appears that design had to avoid environmental areas. One would do extremely well to par it. The course provides scenic views and an interesting, pleasant day of links.

We were all taken by the scenic and pleasantly challenging course with the rocky, rolling links winding creeks. Greens and fairways are lush. We were sometimes confused finding the white tees. They were in place, but it was our first round at Linville Falls, but certainly not our last. It is well-worth the 70 mile drive from Waynesville, NC.

The fairways are fairly open. The greens are challenging. The staff are all cordial and conscientious about the course conditions.

We all liked the technicality of this course. It's a challenge to break 90....particularly when off the fairways. Greens are "rolly" but in good condition. Fairways were recently aerated ...in progress!

The greens had been aerated which was know before we played. The back 9 has sloping fairways ...sideways ... making even good drives difficult. My score was affected by the rough greens due to aeration. Will return when greens are back to normal.

This course design is not boring. Fairways and greens are in good shape. A couple of holes have suffered some damage dues to unusual rainfall, but repairs are ongoing.

Course Super (Rick) maintains a good course ...with staff and often labors himself.
