I recently moved to the area from Pennsylvania and I am looking to find new courses to play. I was a member of a country club in PA and was hoping to find a decently priced public course that was in decent shape. After moving here I realized that there are a few courses that are complete trash. This course, however, was not one of them. It’s a fun course that, to me, was very difficult to play the first time. A few tight holes and a lot of water in play. You better be able to hit your tee ball well because that’s the most challenging part. Missing the green on the approach didn’t seem to be a big deal as the area around the greens seem huge.
Overall the course was in decent shape. Not sure if it’s the time of year of just Florida golf but every course I have played here so far has really long grass on the tee boxes. Greens were a bit slow for me but again I’m not sure if that’s just Florida golf or the conditions not of the course. I did enjoy the course and will definitely play it again.
