Oyster Reef was a good experience with a very nice staff. Remember to bring your mask as Covid procedures are in place and require a mask indoors in Hilton Head . Even to check in in the golf shop. My son and I played the blue tees and found the course to a challenging test. Personally I would have appreciated faster greens but they appeared to have been top dressed a week ago. On one hole, #4, there are trees blocking tee shot from the back tee which need trimming. Overall a pleasant experience. We played in 3 hours and never saw another group..

We were extremely pleased with the condition of the course. The greens were smooth and quick. Fairways green and tees flat. I played the blue tees and found the course very challenging. Staff was nice and we played in less than 4 hours which was great. Highly recommend.

My wife and I were paired with a wonderful couple who were members of CCHH . They were a joy to play with and were very helpful to us. The course was as enjoyable as I had remembered and the back nine is as scenic a nine holes as there is on the island . The golf course was in excellent condition and I would recommend the blue tees for a low handicapper as the white tees eliminate driver on many holes on the front nine. Great experience....highly recommend!

I played this round with my family’ and was disappointed with the condition of the course. The greens were barely grassed in at all and were very inconsistent. The fairways were also filled with weeds and looked as if irrigation was not turned on. The basic layout and the surrounding homes would indicate that this course had been better at one point in time but needs an infusion of money and some TLC. The value was reasonable but maintenance was lacking.

Our experience at Dolphin Head was a good one. The course is interesting as the front nine is fairly tight with tree lined fairways. And the back nine is a little more open. Four very challenging par threes. I played from the Blue tees and they all played close to 200 yards. The greens were fairly fast burmuda and smooth. The staff was very friendly however the clubhouse facilities could use a little updating and a snack bar would be nice. Overall a good experience for me and my wife. Will return.

I have played Grove Park before and enjoy the layout. They warned me that the greens had been punched and sanded so I anticipated that. However, I did not anticipate how wet the course would be... I had several tee shots that totally disappeared because they plugged in the fairway. Also the tees were saturated as well. Too much water! If the local rainfall does not support bent fairways, go with burmuda! Everyone from the cart guys to the pro staff was very nice it just seems the total golf experience, course conditions, etc have declined . And $75 for punched and sanded greens is too high. Two people that were supposed to play with me were “put off” by the cost given the greens.

This was my first experience at Berkshire Valley and I was very impressed with the golf course.. This first five holes are demanding, so make sure you are warmed up before you get started. The start of the course runs along the mountain ridge and then the course drops down into the valley for the remainder of the round. I can say that this was one of the better conditioned public courses that I have played in NJ and the greens were smooth and moderately fast. The only blemish on an otherwise great experience was the time it took us to complete our round..we started at 12:10 and we did not finish until 5:20. Extremely slow with no Ranger in sight until the 14 th hole. I know the couse was busy but still no reason for 5+ hour round.. Other thsn paceof play....highly recommended!

Really enjoyed my round at Peninsula. The course was on excellent condition with a unique layout where each of the holes are memorable and different. The pace of play the day we played was rather slw and I did not se any rangers on the course to move things along our round was close to 5 hrs which is too long. The staff was very friendly and the facilwere first rate. Looking forward to playing again and experiencing the Marsh nine on my next trip to Gulf Shores.

I have played Old South on several occasions and find it enjoyable most every time. Today s round was played in extremely windy conditions whicuh made holes 6&7, and 16&17 which are out on the marsh almost impossible. These holes are very exposed and as such are very difficult on a windy day. The rest of the layout is very fair and the layout has good variety. The conditions were good with the overseed still present on the burmuda greens that some may consider slow. Overall a good experience highlighted by a great BLT sandwich i the restaurant after the round. Just be cautious if its a windy day. Could be hard on your golf ego.

This is my first time on Robbers Row in quite some time and I found it very enjoyable. The course give you many opportunities to score with some short par 5s and par 4 s but look out for the par 3s .They are quite challenging especially if the wind is blowing. Staff friendly and excellent burmuda greens.

Nice resort course with excellent greens. Fun layout. Not too demanding for novices. Front nine a little tighter with condos and houses lining the fairways. Back nine more senic when getting out near the ocean
Overall a pleasurable experience with welcoming staff .

Played early on Saturday morning and pace of play was excellent with our forsome playing in 4 hours and 5 minutes. Staff was friendly and value was good. Several greens were in bad shape with some dead areas. Good layout that is not too difficult for novice golfers

Really enjoyed my round at Palmetto Hall Arthur Hills. I played from the Blues and found it to be a great challenge. My friend Played from a forward set of tees(Black.Senior?) and had a great time. The layout is plenty challenging for a low handicapper but is also playable for the less skilled player. Its a great break from many of the island courses where every hole looks the same. Most of the holes are different enough that they are memorable. Conditions were good. . Grass still coming in after the longer than normal winter in SC. Good hybrid Bermuda greens, not super fast and a little grainy but tricky. Great finishing hole. Staff quite pleasant, only complaint was. No beverage cart on a 85 degree day. Will return again!

Enjoyable resort golf. Not long but tight layout. Greens good but fairways not fully grown in and traps could use some work. Brigantine 9 very picturesque. Gallion not so much. Great value in high season in Hilton Head

I have played this course before and have always enjoyed it. The staff is great and the course enjoyable. The only problem this time was pace of play. Unfortunately they allowed a fivesome out in front of us and they were extremely slow. They had a large number of golfers that day and shouldn't have allowed a fivesome. Overall oK

Great layout in beautiful surroundings. Not long at all but the challenge starts on and around the greens. They are very fast and challenging. Typical Ross with lots of false fronts, etc. The fairways were kind of wet to the point that several tee shots plugged. Mostly excellent conditioning with the exception of the back tee at the 17th hole, which had very little turf on it at all . Longer hitters will want to play the "tips" for the maximum enjoyment. Great spot with very friendly staff. Go up to the hotel for a post round beer on the Sunset Terrace!

Second time playing this great course. Best public golf in NJ. A stout test from all tees but all holes are different and memorable. Would highly recommend especially for low handicappers. Conditions good , staff friendly and pace of play was good!

This may be one of the most senic courses I have ever played. There are several holes that have 360 degree views of the surrounding area of Cherokee NC. Though the round was extemely slow, probably due to the number of people playing and the difficulty of the course, I would like to return for another round at this track! Our group played the tips but I would only recommend that for players with handicaps in the low single digits. From back there we played one 245 yd and 215 yd. par threes. The greens were quite slow and would like to see them more consistant and speedy. Overall fun and challenging even for handicappers.

I was pleasantly surprised at the conditioning and variety if the holes at Island West! Greens were great and my son and I who are low handicapers found the course challanging and fun from the blue tees. We will return soon.

I always return to Crescent Pointe when I come to Hilton Head. The Arnold Palmer design is challenging from the tips but still fun. The value for this round through Golf Now was excellent. The staff in the shop, restaurant, cart men, etc are always super friendly. The course was in great shape withe fairway grass good and Bermuda greens moderately fast. Only small complaints were a lack of rakes in sand traps and a couple of silly pin positions on severe slopes. Overall I would strongly recommend Crescent Pointe to any visiting the Hilton Head area!
