I hadn't played here in a while and used to play here all the time... my wife and I decided to try again.
We are NOT slow players and frankly both play pretty well... me low 80s and her high 80s or better. They just send singles and twosome out at random, there are people driving up on you and trying to pass constantly trying to get in a two hour round.
By the third hole (par 3) we pulled over to let a twosome go through after teeing off, the twosome said sorry the group behind us are pushing us, meanwhile the ranger who's driving around picking up balls picks up my ball to the left of the green while he sees us all there after teeing off and after I yelled "dint pick up that Bridgestone"... too late.
He comes over to us to apologize and hand me my golf ball, now the next twosome is coming through and they said "we didn't want to wait on 10 so we came around the front again" this is the twosome pushing... do you think the ranger would say something... nope, too busy thinking about golf ball hunting.
We played on to witness young party groups driving up on greens and all over the place, we were on 8 and the sixsome (yep 6) on the 6th hole with their stereo blasting and all out there yelling and singing held up groups behind them... it was a joke and we left after 9 holes.

Years ago I never thought AZ traditions would turn into this kind of course but it has, I guess when Villa Depaz and Falcon golf course closes this is where they go.

Now two weeks later mid July at 115 degrees they raised their rates to $35 after 11::00... brilliant, at that price I will go to a better quality course.

Wife and I played here for first time and will be back, nice course and they know the value of friendliness, thank you

I was a little reluctant to play after reading a few reviews but was pleasantly surprised, yes the course is just a little dry but what a fantastic layout... with a little water and detail maintenance this could be a fantastic course, I play golf in the area when I come to town a few times a year and will look forward to playing here again

We only played front nine but very good condition and very friendly staff, would play again next time in town

One of my wifes and my favorite courses, we play here most Sundays, I showed up here this past Sunday having booked a tee time on line, the woman at the counter couldn't find my reservation, when I looked at my phone I discovered I had booked for 3 days earlier, paid but didn't show up as I thought I was booking for Sunday and not the prior Thursday, she looked at her Thursday tee sheet and there was my tee time and honored the booking for Sunday, she made my day as I was quite bummed, so many courses just cater to the winter snowbirds and frankly don't care about us who play here year round... this is the kind of thing that keeps me coming back to Arizona Traditions, thanks to the Sunday AM woman at the counter who made my day

My wife and I come to Palm Springs from Az a few times a year for a little fun and golf, this is one of my favorite places to play... love the layout and the staff is ALWAYS so friendly

Course is ok, condition is ok but unbelievable slow pace and nobody out there to say anything, local elderly/residents that can't play very well, had a 1:00 tee time and left at just about 5:00 after 12 holes, I NEVER walk off a course but when I pulled to the 13th tee box with multiple groups waiting again... I had enough, I golf allot and live near by and frankly Great Eagle is a last resort course winter only and I think I'm done, probably won't be back as they don't care about keeping a pace, don't want to upset the elderly but what are you gonna do in a month or so when you've driven off everybody that lives here and plays all year

I like the course and in good shape but very slow play, practice putting green was packed, couldn't even practice... typical Sun City course catering to the snow birds and sending out as many as they can, I was warned that the course was notorious for very slow play with no marshall and it was, 12:52 tee time and barely made 18, almost 3 hours for front nine... that's my only complaint, I play the northwest valley at least twice a week and this the slowest I've experienced yet this year.

I like the course, playing here for years and course is in decent shape again but please stop sending groups off the back, almost every time I've played in the past weeks the front nine pace is decent and it always come to a halt on 10, you can see coming up 9 there are a few groups waiting on 10 and they are NEVER the people that have been in front of you the entire front 9... even talked about this with an employee there Saturday and he admitted they send groups off the back 9... it's sometimes twice the time to play the back, there has been a 10 minute wait on every hole on the back my last 3 times out and they are the slowest groups, the Ranger does absolutely NOTHING ever... don't know why they have one out there, watched a group say something to him about the group in front and he went the other way after... he's done that to me before... please stop sending your local elders off the back because they don't want to go off the front, we all play there and not just during this season, your driving away yearly players to accommodate seasonal players, last 3-4 times out there it was the talk of our groups.

I really have nothing good to say, the course is completely yellow/dormant, hard to find any decent fairway at all, more dirt than grass, greens ok but loaded with unfixed divots, course is so bad nobody cares, carts parked on/near green, mud everywhere, half the trees on the course are dead, the neighborhood is disgusting, either loud pounding music or dogs barking on most holes, geese, coots and pigeons all over so poop everywhere, there is absolutely no more pride left at this course and it's too bad, used to like playing here, I would like to say you get what you pay for but you dont

Haven't played here in a while... course is going down hill a bit, way too much wet and mud for that much yellow grass, lots of dead and dirt areas, fairways are a bit lumped up and the course is very wet and muddy, greens are exceptionally fast and in my opinion way to fast for that much slope, course isn't nice enough to draw really good golfers so it's high handicappers trying to putt on very fast greens with a ton of slope, just makes for long rounds while everyone 3 putts, used to like to play here but will be a last resort course for me from here forward

Greens getting much better... nice job because I love playing this course, fun to play again.

Played here a few times a few years back and my wife and I liked it but we stopped playing because it was very wet and muddy, played here again a few times in the past few weeks and the same... wet and muddy, course is known for being wet, played late Sunday and the whole course was so muddy everywhere, irons took a 2" deep divot, clubs, ball and shoes were always muddy, bunkers are almost unplayable, I do like the course and staff is friendly but enough with the water

Booked here on golf now because it didn't look busy, not the best course but not the worst... teed off at 12:00 and came up 18 in the dark, five and a half hours to Play 18 ( three hours for the front nine) the slowest pace I've ever seen and I play at least twice a week and have for years, 15 minute wait at every hole, two groups backed up waiting on every hole... was silly slow and nobody out there to move things along, everybody complaining and the course didn't care, topic of conversation with every group at the tee boxes waiting... lots of frustration

What a bummer, at one time my favorite course I hadn't player Pueblo in a long while, stopped playing last summer because the greens had become so bad, went back this past Saturday... the course itself was ok, a little thick in the rough but again in better shape than in the past however not allot of improvement on the greens, still in rough shape and very bumpy... not true greens at all, still a fun place to play a round but not if your looking for a serious score

Loved everything about this course, fantastic layout, have to disagree with the guy earlier regarding this course against other west valley courses, I play 2-3 times a week in the west valley and have for years, this course ranks up there with Quintero but in my opinion better than Verado and Copper Canyon (which I love both) and far better than all three wigwam courses which I play allot, this course was even a little dry and about to be winter seeded and still played fantastic, can't say enough about the layout... every hole great character and strategic while being forgiving (finished with the same ball I started with) finished plus 10 which is high for me but first time and a little windy, only down side to the couse is its a bit of a drive for me in Surprise but again great course

Course was cut down and dried out for winter seeding buy still love the course and had fun, always friendly staff, looking forward to playing again

Love the course but it was a stressful round, my wife and I teed off about 10:30, I am a low/mid single digit handicap and my wife is a 10/12 handicap so we know how to play and pace, we had a twosome tee off behind us... as we got to the second hole a different twosome passed us, so they also passed the twosome behind us, I assumed they were just coming off 18 and decided to play more golf... then we were waiting for them, the rest of the day day was filled with people passing and backing up, by the time we got to the back nine it was a wait on every hole with groups as far as the eye can see, we left the course after 14 holes, very unorganized, I said something to the marshall on the 4th hole and he didn't think there was a problem, we never seen him again, course in nice shape but again not controlled at all

Always have fun playing this course, all the SC Grand courses, very nice summer condition and good pace of play... be back next weekend

Had a great time, haven't played the SC Grand courses in a while though I live right between them, usually too packed and expensive in the golf season but love playing there in the summer, always a treat
