Course, practice facility, restaurant, all absolutely First Rate. Went to the restaurant between 9 and 18 on a Sunday and had their brunch. Food was excellent but extremely expensive. Other than that this place is as close to perfect as you can get.

Over the years I have played this course 50 or 60 times. Have not played it since about 2 years ago, when it was in fair to bad shape. It was nice to see the course is now in great shape and we really enjoyed the round. Well worth the Golf Now Hot Rate. By the way, greens were in good condition and the ball rolled true every time. Thumbs Up to the maintenance crew.

The course was in great shape. He boxes and Fairways were nice and green with no bare spots at all. Greens were good and reasonably fast if there were some fuzzy patches here and there. All in all this is a great facility. Don't hesitate.

This is an excellent course for the money. Very popular. Tee boxes were ok, fairways would be better if 1/4 to 1/2" taller for less bare spots, but still good. Greens were as fast as any I have ever played here in Orlando. Maybe to fast. Had to be at least a 12 on the stent meter. All in all this is a fantastic value. Don't hesitate.

Greens smooth and true, but a bit slow. Loved it and will return.

All aspects of this course were great. Greens punched over a month ago for the third time this season, have healed nicely. They rolled true and were pretty fast. Fairways in great shape as well. Rough was about 2 to 3 inches, but easy to hit out of. Tee boxes were in good shape, but a little dry and brown. All in all a great day of golf.

Played with 2 others that play speed golf. Not a fan of that, but did play my best round at Shingle Creek that day. Course was in great shape, with no restrictions. 1 day after the hurricane that never hit Orlando. Course was dry and the roll out was nice. Best deal in Central Florida. Staff is always amazing as well!!

Course is always good, although on Thursday they were recovering from a lot of rain the evening before. Some spots were wet and reduced the roll. Spots in front of the greens were so wet, that the ball would get a bit muddy if rolled through it. Greens are healing nicely from being punched over a month ago. All in all a fantastic time!! By the way the staff is out of this world, which always means a lot to me. For the price you can't beat it.

Fantastic course and the staff are extremely friendly. Course is in great shade, with the exception that the greens are still healing from being punched about a month ago. Fast, but a little bumpy. Compared to other courses in Orlando this is a great deal. Greens are still much better than most other course in Central FL. Greens should be about perfect in a week or 2. They did mention that they will be doing aerification 1 more time in mid August. Seems to take about 5 to 6 weeks for them to come completely back. When they do this is Pro Level course. Play it the way it is. You won't be sorry. :)

I had contracted COVID-19 and was unable to use the tee time. I gave it to a friend, for 2 players, that said it started to rain and he did not go or let me know that the tee time was not going to be used. Unfortunately this was a "Hot Deal" and I had to pay up front. "$85 lost due to my bad judgement" and a friend that would not let me know that he was not going to use the tee time. Lesson learned.

Pro-level condition! Greens look like they were punched about 3 to 4 weeks ago but are healing nicely. These greens are still better than anything else in Orlando. Speed would probably run about a 12 on the stent meter. Fairways are excellent, rough is excellent, and tee boxes are actually in better condition than most greens at other courses in Orlando. This is a fantastic Golf Course and the best bang for the buck in Central Florida. Don't hesitate.

This course was absolutely impeccable. Fairways and greens were outstanding. The greens on a stent meter were probably running 12 to 13, very fast. If the ball was hit in the Fairway it would run forever. This was under covid-19 conditions, the price was fantastic. Don't hesitate, great value.

Played Palms Tuesday the 12th. Fantastic golf experience. Course was in excellent condition. Fairways were running fast and smooth. They were so smooth, they were better than other Orlando courses greens. Rough was maybe 2 to 3 inches. Greens were in impeccable shape, running true, smooth, with about a 9 or 10 on a stimpmeter. The staff, as always, were very friendly and accommodating. At this time of year with very little rain and the COVID-19 thing going on, I can't say enough about how great this course is. Playing Palms again Friday, I enjoyed it that much. Don't hesitate, as I said in the title, Disney Magic!!!

Greens were good condition although a little slow and a little bumpy. I enquired from the starter when they were going to punch the greens again and he stated it's happening tomorrow. He said the course will be closed for about a week and a half until they start coming back. Rough was good, Fairways were average and in some spots a little bit brown and thin. Overall a good golfing experience.

This course used to be a Hidden Gem, very reasonably priced and usually in excellent condition. Played this course the morning of July 4th and unfortunately I have to say that it's gone downhill quite a bit. The tee boxes barely have any grass on them and the fairways have Tufts of grass to where your ball actually gets caught up in them. Some spots in the fairways are also bear and do not have grass. This did not used to be the case. I would like to say that with a little bit of water and some TLC that this course could be a good one again. All this being said, for only $17 it is a pretty decent deal.

I've been playing this course for over 5 years and have always felt that it was a great course for the money always in great shape. Well cut and manicured fairways and smooth greens that run true. I played today at 10:04am and was shocked to see 6' to 8" tufts of grass in the middle of the fairways. The fairways were also lacking grass in many areas ( just dirt). The greens were also in bad shape, with many bumps and brown areas. Greens were very slow as well, running maybe a 4 or 5 on a stimpmeter. Yes it has been hot in Orlando, but there has also been a lot of rain that if taken care of correctly should have had the course in much better shape. Played the TPC course in Tampa last week (which by the way has also had almost identical weather conditions) and it was wet, but in great condition. I never thought I would have to say this, but the course management company at Kings Ridge needs to make some serious changes to get this course playable again. Very sad to see this. I really liked this course, but will not return for a long while!!!

Played this course on Wednesday afternoon at 11:50 a.m. Course conditions for absolutely amazing, teeboxes were manicured so well, that they were in better shape than most greens at the courses I play in Orlando. Sand traps were medium grade, not soft and fluffy, and not hard. They were raked very very well. Fairways were also in amazing shape, but a little soft. Every well hit fairway shot would collect mud on the ball. Play lift clean and place. Greens were also fantastic, rolled very true. On the stint meter this would probably be about a 9. Considerably faster than anything I play Orlando. The price was a little steep for my liking, but pretty much in line with the other great courses in Phoenix. One thing to remember here, is that it is a desert course and you better be accurate. If not, you will end up with a lot of lost balls. The only minus was the pace of play. Started out okay, but then got caught behind before some with three women that slowed everything down, ended up having to wait on every tee. Other than that it was a fantastic golf experience, don't hesitate.

I have played this course in the past and love the old time country club feel. But, have not played here for a few years. We were able to play early in the morning and the weather was good, but with rain coming in at the end of the round. I play 7 or 8 different courses in the area and for the price this is one of the best courses I with ever played in Orlando. The tee boxes were in good to very good shape. The only thing different that I would do is to use better grass in the tee boxes. Some weeds. Other than that this course was immaculate. Fairways were fantastic as well as the greens. Greens are not as fast as some at the more expensive courses, but for me it makes it easier to play. They seem to be running about an 8 or 9 on the stint. All in all this is the absolute best value in the area. Don't hesitate, you will not regret it!

Rough on the first 5 holes was kneel high, bad. Toughs of grass 6 inches high in the middle of the fairways. Greens for the most part were Ok, but dog slow, maybe 6 or 7 on the stint. All in all as far as my group was concerned, we felt was course was in such bad shape it should be closed.
