Absolutely nobody on the course which was nice. Played 18 in a little over 2 hours. Front 9 fairways are in pretty bad shape and they just sanded the greens. Back 9 was a pleasant surprise. Only knock is no beverage cart (understandable) and no water on the course.

Felt like they were rolling. Had enough zip on chips and pitches around the greens to check and stop. Best conditions I’ve played in this year around the a Houston area

The greens were actually in pretty good shape considering the past few years. Were smooth and rolled good considering the rain we got last week. I was pleasantly surprised, definitely good value for the money

La Quinta at Quail Valley Golf Course

The layout of the course was awesome. A few holes have a couple of tricky tee shots from the tips which made it that much more demanding. Only knock on the course is a few of the greens have some spotty grass but other than that I absolutely loved it. Played 18 holes in under 3 hours

The greens were phenomenal. Couple bunkers were a little rough but for the most part it was in very good shape. Greens had speed and rolled true. Hands down best course to play in Houston right now

Could use a little water but the greens rolled pure and the layout was amazing. Played from the tips so it was a good challenge. Only complaint is a few greens are rough from people not fixing divots.

For a course that prides themselves on the best greens in Houston public golf, that was pretty embarrassing. Almost didn’t want to finish the round after 9. Herman Park looks like Augusta compared to this. Save your money and play elsewhere.
