Have not played here in over a year and so, course back to great shape. Pace of play (on a Tuesday off course) 3:36 for 18, cant go wrong. Greens were rolling at least 10.8 or 11. True pace.
Great Muni course

Came to visit from KC, read all the reviews about the course and I can say 4 out of 5. Was received up front by a great group of guys, cart ready bag ready ! Wow ! Nice. Approach the tee box before my time and the Marshall paired me with Mike, Tom and Jason, what a great group of guys ! Course layout is nice, fairways were dry on some spots maybe winter but I was expecting more green. Long track, wide fairways, but man that Bermuda grass is something else as I’m used to Zoysia. The 4 start if for the dry spots only. Great track overall. Price wise I believe you pay for playing in Fl this time of year, on the high price for some.

Will come back for sure !

Beware the gators !!

I played this course for the first time on a Tuesday afternoon twilight rate, you cannot beat the price you cannot beat the fact that I have the course to myself . I’m visiting from KC on a business trip, that is a very open course however a lot of ups and down hills that you can enjoy a lot . Fun course but challenging nonetheless , weather being the weather here in California it had some spots that were dry , It has been a theme on the courses that I play in Cali but the bunkers have not been raked so they are very firm almost rocky sand.

I played this course for the first time on a Sunday pace of play was good very open,some areas were dry,bunkers are rocky sand need some love , overall great experience good course to play fun 18 while I’m traveling nothing great nothing bad

I played yesterday 06/26 on a good Golfnow deal so the price was fairly good. 1st on this course, layout is nice lots of slopes and lies, not easy. Cart path need love but I would not judge the entire course by that. Some tee boxes need care ASAP. Fairways have hold fair even with the crazy amount of rain in KC, I’ve severe damage at other courses. Its good the course is available through GN and not only through GL. Green were tough and need care, not all had the same speed. Sand traps are awfully bad, this is a big fail on this course, only 2 traps were raked and in good shape. This is a no brainer to fix.
Staff was friendly
All in all fairly good and I was pleased with the day. On a good GN deal I’ll come back

I was in Wichita for a quick visit and played Tallgrass through GolfNow. The course reviews on google are misleading for now, its not in good shape, actually is in terrible shape because they are trying to get it better (that what’s been advertised).
Fairways are in poor shape, greens are in less than decent shape. They need to use early spring weather to make it shine, otherwise it will not be value for the money.
Staff was 5 stars friendly, don’t get me wrong. It’s not personal, but for what you pay it’s not good.

Layout is ok, nice holes, intermediate I would say.

Very nice place for a change on 9 holes. I usually play either back 9 of St Andrews or the West Sweeper of Sykes if it's quick and only 9.
The gentleman to register and everyone else were very kind and polite. It's always nice when they invite your 9 year old to"go put if you can". Course was very nice, very open at first and a couple of nice tricky holes, the rest is pretty mid handycaper friendly to hit low 40s. Pace is an issue but the folks in front of us let us pass in a heart beat, second big group also let us through. It was a nice late morning. Will go back. Greens were well maintained, not a lot weeds on the outsides, fairways were in excellent shape, well kept course.

First time on this course through a good rate on GN. About 30min drive for me but well worth to change course and layout.
Well maintained course, a little bit of weeds on the outsides but nothing big. Layout was challenging, blues and blacks are the way to go. Carts are in great shape and the course gives you a book with the holes and different distances, can't beat that !!
I'm not picky about the golf shop so regular amenities are available, food was ok since I usually have a hotdog before the back 9. Overall very good.

Not sure why the bad reviews. Course is the best bang for the buck, well kept and well maintained, challenging holes and layout, perfect fairways, yes usually slow greens, usually not always. Walk the back 9 on a Sunday morning and you can't beat the price. Pace is good, I have finished 18 in 3:20.
