I booked the round the day before and nowhere did it say on GolfNow/Teeoff that the greens were aerated the night before so putting was impossible. I focused on how I played from tee to green and the course is nice from tee to green. If the greens were normal and in good shape, this would have been a 4 or 5 star rating

Mud Run is enjoyable and a great place for beginners with the shorter yardage options. This was the first time my friend ever played golf and the people were very understanding (we let 4 or 5 groups play through). The course has a nice layout for a short course and is in very good shape. Recommend

St Denis is a course that's always in very good condition with a great layout. You can find great rates on Golfnow & Teeoff to make it one of the biggest steals in Ohio. I definitely recommend you come out to Chardon & play St Denis

Legend Lakes is a well maintained course that you can tell you're at a private course. There was someone there to greet me in the parking lot to put my bag on a cart. I love that they free up a few tee times during the week so we can play it. Definitely worth it and the price they offer it at is awesome. If you can grab a tee time here, do it

Fox Den is an enjoyable course. It has a nice layout, conditions are good considering the lack of rain this month, and the greens run at a nice speed and true. Not a top tier course, but a nice course worth the drive

Had a great time at Maple Ridge. The course has a nice llayout, the green roll nice and you can pretty much throw darts at the flag because the approach shots stop right away. The front 9 is more open and much longer than the back 9 (3300 yds vs 2700) and the back 9 is much more narrow with more trees. The conditions could be a little better but I blame that on the dry weather. Once that improves with rain, the course will be awesome. The drive out to Austinburg is worth it

This is the 4th time I've played Hemlock Springs in the past 2 months,. The staff has always been great and the course has a nice layout and has always been in good condition. I noticed that the conditions have gone south some since a month ago...maybe because of the drier weather we've had, but I has a few shots today from the fairway or just off the fairway with my ball sitting on bare spots where there should definitely be grass. Once they get the conditions up again, it's a fabulous course

This is such a nice course. It is in immaculant condition. The fairways are like hitting off carpet and the greens are fast & true. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. To think I got to play this course for $15 is Stupid Good! Put Gleneagles on your list for sure

First time playing Tanglewood and I'll be back. The course is constantly changing hole to hole, is in very good shape and has very receptive, but SLOW greens. It's as beautiful as the surrounding community which by the way, houses are on the course (glady, I did not hit any of them). You'll want to make your way out to this course

Since moving to the Cleveland area I'm played 11 different courses and Windmill Lakes is definitely in the top 2 or 3. The course is in amaizing shape, the greens are fast & run true, the staff is fabulous and the price is so cheap for all you get. Highly recommend making the drive (45 minutes for me) for this gem!

I enjoyed my round at Pleasant Hills. For NE Ohio, it's very open so you won't have to contend with trees everywhere, though there's still a decent amount on the course. The greens needed to be cut as they were incredibly slow. But it's a nice course that's a great value for the low rates they charge

I went out as a single and finished my round in way less than 3 hours! I like that the course has a sign on 1st tee for all groups to keep their pace to no more than 2 hours per 9 holes. The course is in great shape and has a lot of twists and turns. The greens are fast and slope down back to front so you will want to keep your ball below the hole or you're going to have a super fast putt or one with 5+ feet of break. I will definitely be back soon!

Hemlock Springs is a very pretty course in very good shape (other than the tee boxes are a bit hard). Not a ton of straight holes and with undulations, it's a fun course to play

Manakiki is a great course with a fantastic layout. So many twists & turns with a ton of elavation changes. Very beautiful course. The rough was extremely difficult because the person who cuts it couldn't work on the holiday weekend because he's a union worker, but once it gets cut down a bit, it will be much more fair as far as playability. Also, there isn't a driving range (unless you bring your own balls) so that's a drawback. All in all, it's a must play course!

The Links is a nice course to spend your time at. It's fairly short which is great for average golfers, the layout changes a lot and they put lots of trees in front of you to make things interesting. There are certainly nicer courses out there, but they come at a heavier price. The Links is a nice value.

Be aware that there isn't a driving range at the course

The Legacy is always in great shape, the amenities are fantastic and the people are friendly & helpful. For the price, it's hard to beat the quality of Legacy and the experience you'll get

This is a top-notch establishment. The staff is friendly, especially the beverage lady (Anna), and helped to get around the facility since it was my first time here. The course is in shape, the greens run true and pretty fast. The only drawback would be the bunkers, which there are well over 100 of them, should have more sand for such a nice course. We played in 3 hrs 15 minutes, which is probably due to the COVID-19 virus, but it was a great flow to the round and I would highly recommend playing Faldo @ Wildfire

Johnson Ranch has a nice layout with lots of scenic holes winding through the San Tan Mountains. It can be a great course but management won't let it. They don't have a beverage cart person, ball washers or drinking water on the course. The greens are a little bit "hairy" and inconsistent and it you miss the fairway/greens, you may be on grass or hard pan ground. But if you can get it at a good price, it's worth playing, just don't expect it to compare to a high-level course.

The Raven should be on everyone's to-golf list. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the course is immaculate and makes you think you're in northern Arizona or the upper midwest with 6,000 pine trees!. I highly recommend this experience to anyone.

This is a very scenic and maintained golf course. It will challenge you with blind/target shots at times and even penalize you for good shots that just aren't in the right place on the fairway or greens, but the beauty of the course is undeniable. We played with cart path only (which will end Saturday, Nov 2nd), so it made the course that much slower and harder. Once that's out, the experience will be much better. I would recommend playing a round here as the beauty and condition of this course is fantastic.
