Rudest people I have encountered at a golf course. I tried to switch my tee time with two other people who were waiting for a late arrival. It all made complete sense, until the course operator showed his complete lack of customer service skills. The course operator continuously badmouthed GolfNow by citing "we don't make any money off these rounds" to which I responded "Then why subscribe to their service?" I was treated like a second class citizen. And to add insult to injury, the miserable person at the snack shop refused to cook a hot dog for me, citing "a backlog of orders" which made no sense on a half empty nine hole course.

The course itself was in fair condition, the pace was slow and based on the above, it is now on the "banned course list."

The rough has been very high all season so far at Lyman. Cut your grass! Also, the bunkers have been in terrible shape the past two years. Two many rocks and not enough sand. Hardpan bunkers. Why? Fill them with some nice fine, white sand! And you renovate the bathrooms, but leave that terrible snack bar going. Ninth hole shack was closed and the restaurant is stuck in the 1980's. Build a nice bar overlooking the course and we won't have to go elsewhere for post round drinks and lunch!

Play was slow. People fishing balls out of ponds and some hacks screaming out there and not following etiquette. Good little course, but nearly three hours to complete nine holes not cool.

Course was in good shape and the pace of play was fine. Not my favorite layout, but not a bad place to place occasionally. Island Green was loaded with geese, but they did not interfere with a Par!

I like the course, but the management is terrible. It doesn't seem to matter when I play, weekdays, weekends, late afternoon, etc., but the play is always super slow. Too many regulars from golf associations and such that feel they are on a private course or something. Regardless, I'm fed up with it and tired of 5+ hour rounds. Recently, I played at 10:45 on a Saturday and it took 5.5 hours. The starter stated that he allowed people who were later for their times to "jump in" which delayed my time and then turned into a classic Orange Hills slow play round?!?!?!

Rude Starters and staff. They had no control over the order,, which resulted in horrendous pace of play...

Good round, nice day and great weather. My only complaint: They let singles and twosomes go out and it is pretty disorganized out there. A twosome in front of me refused to allow me to play with them and I had to wait behind them. They should group people up better. Same thing happened last time I played here.

Great golf course and simply a beautiful, scenic layout. A few of the greens were rough in places, but everything else was very well maintained. One of my favorite courses to play.

Played this for the first time recently and enjoyed it. Nice layout, decent rates and well maintained. I would play it again.

Course is in good shape. The Tradition has done a great job bringing this place back to life. It is an old, formerly private, club with a lot of history so it was nice to see it revitalized. The new owners have invested considerable money into both the course and clubhouse. The restaurant is also very good. Nice job all the way around. Only complaint: The starters are pushy.

Always a slow day on either course at Blackledge, which is a shame since they are both nice tracts. No rangers or course management causes the play to get unbearably slow. The course needs to hire some rangers and enforce pace of play. I may just give up on this one and play elsewhere...
