About

Ive been playing golf for around 50 years, took some time off when you kids were young. My goal in retirement is to spend more money on golf than taxes. I belong to two clubs one in Vermont and one in Tucson AZ. I currently play about 3 times a week or 150 rds a year. When I was younger I was a solid " B " player, I currently have three or four bad holes per round and keep my handicap too high for my expectations. In my head I know what a want to do, but my 76 year old nervous system limits my performance. Another goal I have in retirement is to play every golf course in Vermont. So far Ive played 71, I need one more course to meet my goal which will not be easy since its a very private CC in Manchester Vt.

Great time

We had a 3 some, and play from the middle tees. We are all over 70 years old, have about a 16 index. All have played most of the courses in So. AZ. Had a great time playing 9 point/baseball.

Great views, course much better than past, but still needs some work.

I ve played golf in Vermont for over 30 years, and would rate this course in the bottom 1/3 of the 72 golf courses Ive played. Great views looking south down Lake Champlain, great walk, and the best course in the Champlain Islands. But, still needs a lot of work, to move to the middle range of courses that are available to play. Very little play, difficult to get a match so bring your own group.

Top ten in the State of Vermont

You could find a course like this anywhere in the US. Typical 90s course, too hard for most players, can t walk, too many condos on the back nine that distract from the golfing experience. Great staff, best practice area in Burlington area.
