Moody Gardens Golf Course

Played this course twice in two days and loved the challenge of it. Need to pick proper lines off the tee boxes and greens are rolling true and quick. Really enjoyed the course and everyone we met was friendly.

We attended the WGC Match Play here in 2011 and always said we wanted to come play it once. Didn't get to play the original 18 but got to play the original back nine. We enjoyed every minute of it even though the greens were crazy to putt on (multiple 3-putts and a 4-putt). Would love to come back and play again some day. The views are amazing.

We enjoyed the day here. It's not a top-end course but for the price we paid, it was well worth it. We dropped a wallet in the parking lot and someone turned it in so thanks to whomever did that and the staff made sure we retrieved it. The course is right beside an air base so the added air show was cool to watch. If you're looking for an inexpensive round, this works well. Greens were good to putt on. All in all, a good day.

Was expecting a bit more from this course. For the price, we left a little disappointed. Conditions were okay. Greens were good and pace of play was fine. Just think the $100 green fee was not worth it.
Tres Rios Golf Course at Estrella Mountain Park

This was our first round after a long winter. Booked it to get the rust off. Course is good for the price we paid. Greens were excellent.

I've played Paiute a few times and always enjoy it. I love desert golf and going to Paiute where they have 3 courses is a treat every time. Staff is great all around. You will not be disappointed if you play here. If the wind is up, it will challenge you on every hole. Played the Sun course and Wolf this trip to Vegas and it will not be my last visit there.
Coyote Springs Golf Club

Found Coyote Springs listed on GolfNow for an unbelievable rate. Talked my wife into making the roughly 50 minute drive out from Vegas. What a great decision! The layout and conditions are fantastic. Every shot demands your attention. If you are debating the drive out to play Coyote, debate no longer. Make the drive out, you won't regret it. Great golf course.
