We thoroughly enjoyed our round at Copperhead. We arrived at the course early, and the starter told us to tee off whenever we were ready. We played the round in just over 3 hours, which was really great!!
We course layout is good and there are some challenging holes. Not a lot of water, but the course was interesting to play overall. Even though there was some damage from Irma, the course was in good shape.They had obviously worked hard to get the course cleaned up from the storm.
The staff were wonderful, from bag-drop, to pro shop, to restaurant. Everyone worked really hard to make us feel welcome.
We will definitely be back ,, we look forward to it!!

Colonial is a first class course in every respect. We have played many courses in the Fort Myers area, but this is my favorite.
I look forward to returning now, and in the future

The last time we played this course a year ago, it was a swamp, and i had no plans to ever go back. However we decided to give it another try, because we are close to the course, and we were pleasantly surprised! Above all, the course staff were fantastic, and couls not have been more friendly and accomodating.
The course was a bit wet in spots, but overall it was fine. Grens were in good shape, fairways were ok, but the tees were a bit chewed up on a couple of holes.
Clearly the course is working hard to make improvements, and so far so good.
We will definitely go back!

This was the first time we played this course and we enjoyed the course very much. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The course was in good shape. Greens were a bit slow which took some getting used to. The starter let us out early which was a bonus because pace of play was slow. There is water on every hole so bring a few extra balls

I don't think I have ever had this happen to me
When we dropped off our bags at 9:00, the guy asked "what is your tee time". I said 9:46, and he said " no, your tee time is is 9:14". I showed him my 9:46 tee time confirmation, and he said again " mope your tee time is 9:14". We had less than 10 minutes to check in and get to the tee.
There were no explanations or apologies. In fact, the attitude of the "bag boys" was almost " quit your whining and get out there".
There is water on the course, but no cups. Suggest you bring your own

We enjoyed our round. Overall course was in good shape except for bunkers which were all treated as waste bunkers.
Staff was very nice, and we will definitely go back

The layout of the course is pretty good but overall conditions weren't great. They need to spray for ants because they are everywhere. The fairways were a bit rough and the greens were slow and a few had been repaired. At times we had to putt through sand.
The staff was very nice and we felt welcome.

When we checked in, we were told we had to play the Egret 9 twice, because there was a tournament on the other two nines. Had we known, we would have booked somewhere else.
The first 9 holes were really slow, and we never saw a marshall to move things along.
Note, they strictly enforce their dress code. One in our group was wearing cargo shorts, and they told him he couldn't play unless he changed. He put on rain pants over his shorts, and then took them off once we got out on the course.

We were pleasantly surprised with the course. Staff was great and conditions were good. Course is fairly open which is good for average golfers.
We will definitely go back
