City Club Marietta
Played On 11/10/2015Classic Course for Anyone
I have always loved playing this course. It plays short, but has enough variety to make it interesting and challenging. The weather was not ideal, but the course was in good shape and green. I recommend City Club to anyone.
The Links at Southwind Country Club

I have played this course once before and it was worth the one hour drive to play it again. It has a wonderful variety of holes and is challenging to all levels of players. The course is well maintained (granted they were working on some touch-ups while I was there) and the staff was more than friendly. The whole area is clean and professional with all the practice facilities that you need for a good warm up.
Southwind Golf Course is by far one of the best overall courses that I have played and I would HIGHLY recommend playing there to anyone. It's worth the drive.
Horse Creek Golf Course

When we pulled in to the course we thought it was going to be run down and back woods; we could not have been more wrong. The staff was great and their practice area is pretty good and a good representation of the course. Though it was February, the course was in good shape and super enjoyable to play. It offers challenging holes that offer imagination in game management.
We came from out of town and I would go out of my way to play there again.
Callahan Golf Links
Played On 12/12/2014Great course for any player at any level
I played Callahan Golf Links for the first time and have to admit that I have not enjoyed a course that much in quite some time. Callahan Golf Links offers everything a golfer would want from straight forward holes to exciting and well challenged holes.
From my arrival, the course appeared to be some easy, off-the-side-of-the-road course, but I soon found how wrong I was. Though some of the course is visible from the clubhouse, the bulk of the course takes you deep into the woods. Basically, I left feeling it was more like a cereal killer, inviting at first, but then takes you out to the woods and tears you up.
I met great people there. The staff was friendly and understanding. The range was well kept and easy to use and the putting green was an honest reflection of the course.
I have only been to about 5-6 courses in the north Atlanta area, but Callahan Golf Links is at the top of my list. I will definitely become a regular.
Bottomline: worth every red cent. Also, greens play farther than you think.
