Widgi Creek Golf Club
Played On 07/20/2018Good course to play
This course is always well taken care of. There are some tricky holes that can bring in those high scores but overall it’s a pretty fair course. The pace of play was decent for a weekend. I think if you’re in Bend this is one of the better public courses to play.
Widgi Creek Golf Club
Played On 03/28/2018The course is in good condition
This course can be tricky. The greens are in good shape as well as the fairways. They take good care of the course. Always a good test after the winter lay off.
Enjoy it. It's a fun course.
Juniper Golf Club
Played On 02/03/2018A great course to play
Juniper is a tough but fair course. The only reason I gave the course conditions four stars was due to winter conditions. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is a good place to visit after your round.
Meadows at Sunriver Resort
Played On 10/24/2017Great course but those sand traps!
This course is loaded with sand traps! Everyone in our group couldn't avoid them. The greens are guarded by these traps and you need to play very smart to avoid them. That said, I enjoyed the challenge and was thankful the sand traps are well maintained. You want to avoid the thick grass which looks like fescue. It's not helpful.
The course is in a beautiful setting. On some holes the views are spectacular.
Widgi Creek Golf Club
Played On 09/29/2017Average experience
I've played Widgi a few times and always had a good experience. I don't know what the deal was this time. The pace of play was exceptionally long with no Marshall in site. Also, the course didn't look as tidy as usual. It was disappointing, hence an average experience.
I apologize for your experience here at Widgi Creek. Course Conditions:
Couple things were going on that week to cause us to be shorthanded. We were aerifing our fairways and our Well Pump valve broke. In addition, needles and cones on the Ponderosa Trees are falling daily this time of year to make it even more challenging for the Maintenance Staff I hope you will be back.
Juniper Golf Club
Played On 08/17/2017Challenging course
This course is definitely a favorite. It's link style with plenty of interest. You can easily lose the ball in the rocky outcropping which surrounds you on all sides on most holes. It's a challenging course and if you score well you know you've played very very good!
Lost Tracks Golf Club
Played On 07/28/2017You've got to like your doglegs!
I like this course. It's fair, greens are nice and there's plenty of doglegs for your trick shots! Ok, I don't have many of these so called "trick shots" but I enjoyed the course nonetheless. It's a fun course.
Juniper Golf Club
Played On 06/17/2017Good solid course
This course is such a good value. It's challenging for a really good golfer as well as fair for the rest of us. The greens are fast and in solid shape. Scenic course with a good layout.
Coyote Creek Golf Club - The Valley Course
Played On 10/24/2015Well taken care of course
I like this course and pace of play isn't too bad for a weekend. The thing my partners didn't like is you can't walk the course on the weekends. The reasoning being it slows up play.Ok, waited a bit on most holes for guys in carts and no one in front of them because no marshall on course that day.Walking would not have made a difference.
DeLaveaga Golf Course & Lodge
Played On 03/14/2015Love this course!
This is a challenging course so play smart. You can run into trouble if you don't use your course management. If you like to be challenged then you gotta play this course!
The Bayonet at Bayonet/Black Horse Golf Course
Played On 03/15/2014A challenging course but remains fair to a golfer
This course has been improved and it's not only fun to play but is still quite a challenge. Fog and wind can be a factor so be prepared. The staff is nice and food is good. I'm not crazy about the bathrooms on the course (Port-A-Potty) but can deal with it. Pace of play is always good.
Cinnabar Hills Golf Club - Lake/Canyon
Played On 3/1/2013The greens are fast and tricky.
The golf course is well maintained and the staff is very friendly. This course would be difficult to walk 18 holes. You do end up walking a good deal because some holes are cart path only. There are some tricky holes that losing a golf ball can easily happen. Overall a course you need to play more than once to enjoy.
Thanks so much for the kind words and we are glad you enjoyed your time with us. Hope to see you out here again soon!
Best,
