Worth a trip

This was my first time playing Trilogy, and if you're looking for something new to try out this course is worth a go. Played it in January, so the conditions were typical green fairways and brown rough, desert style. Fairways are slightly narrow. Still think its slightly overpriced, but this time of year that's what you'll get. Greens were rolling very well at a decent speed. Worth exploring at least once.

Satisfactory

Lone tree is a respectable track. Its not much to look at, but can offer its own unique challenges. Fairways are lush, rough is barely alive brown, and outside of that you're hitting of tiny pebbles and rocks. Greens were slightly slow in the morning due to the dew, but when the dried out were rolling pretty good. I'd recommend this to play two or three times a year depending on how the fairways handle the heat, but during the winter it was good. Worth checking out at least once.

Good course, maybe slightly overpriced

Longbow is a good track. Typical desert style course. Generally fairways are slightly forgiving and have ample width, but does have a few holes where it converges to narrow. Had a minor frost delay (about 37 degrees upon arrival at 7:30am) but the staff got things going as soon as the course allowed. I do think its slightly overprices for what you get, but worth playing at least once. I'd play again, but don't think I'll make it part of my regular list.

Semi slow and sandy greens

Course is in typical shape for AZ summer. Tee boxes good, fairways good aside from the occasional puddle from watering. Greens were a little slow, maybe an 8, and they were still a little sandy from the recent aerations. Give it a little more time to get back into better rolling shape, and head out there.
