I thought considering Texas July heat and no rain in what seems like forever the course was in great condition. I love the layout. If I didn’t live so far away I would join the club.

Very friendly staff. Course was in very good condition.

I have been playing the Scissortail 18 since the Redbud 18 has not opened as of March 2022 Very nice layout. Make sure to play the tees according to your handicap. Scratch player—-2 handicap or better can handle the back, blue tees 3-7, white tees 8 or better or seniors that just do not hit the ball very far. I am not sure if there is another tee box in front of the white before you get to the womens tees. I think there is that plays about 5800 yards. These are all my opinions but just for FYI, I am 65, hit my driver on an average of 270. I have played the back on a fairly light wind day. I shot 80. I have played the blue tees under app,. the same light winds and shot 76,75,74. From the white tees I have scored 72,73,74,76,&79 on a very windy day.

If I lived in Tucson I would play this course 6 days a week. Even God rested on the 7th day. Wonderful layout, always in great condition, super nice staff.

If it were 20 minutes close I would join.

No matter what time of year I play Starr Pass the course is in good condition. Love the layout. High handicappers need to play the tee in front of silver tees or you will have a tough day. Very memorable course especially the lightning bolt that hit app., 50 yards away as I was headed toward the parking lot. Close one.

I have reviewed this course several times, 5 stars. Best value for the money in Tucson. Learned today that it is really tough when the wind gusts to 30 mph.

I play Arizona National every time I am in Tucson. What a great layout and well kept course. I always find a very reasonable green fee for A.N.5 Stars

Course still in winter shape but a nice layout and great greens.

I wish there was some way to be informed when greens are bare and sanded. Person working behind the counter ( I would not say unfriendly) but I feel more welcome at Sewaillo, Arizona National, and Star Pass. Last trip to this goat ranch, I mean Saddlebrook Ranch. The greens were better when the Earp brothers roamed these parts.

Tough but fair. Definitely play the tees that correlate to your handicap. Only play black tees if you are a three or less, blue 4-8, white 9-20, over 20 get lessons and play the really wide open flat courses that are very short in length.

Roadrunner and especially Rattler challenging courses. Both in great shape. If you are a plus 10 handicap play no farther back than silver tees or it could be a long day. Fabulous layouts.

Always play here when I am in town. Three 9 holes, all three tough but fair if you play the tees that correspond to your handicap.Great staff!

Evidently I could have brought my ice chest with me in the cart, and there was a halfway house but I did not get any info on were the halfway house or about the ice chest Yes I should probably have asked, I did ask if there would be any place to get water on the course. I was told there was a cart person, never saw him or her for 4 hours. The only reason I could play 18 is because there was a water fountain after 9 holes. You need water in 105 degree weather. I told the staff it was my first time there and the only information I got was where the first tee was. There were no tee markers on the course. I am not sure how you get covid with tee markers in place. It is a great layout that my group of 24 would have enjoyed playing ,that plays a yearly event at different cities on 4 different courses. I cannot recommend Dove Mountain. Good thing I was very hydrated today before the round.

Course was in very good condition for the summertime.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Golf course is in fabulous shape as always. Covid caused the dining to be shut down, I always play here when visiting the youngest daughter, son in law and those great grandkiddos. ,

Love the course, always in great condition. Fair price, especially on Golf Now. Played in 41/2 hours but due to our group, not the group in front of us.

Every time I am in town I play this course. Three great 9 hole courses. Tee boxes allow you to play to your handicap, as tough as you want or for a high handicap.Tee boxes through the green in great shape.
