My partner and I played this very nicely kept course at 6:40AM on a Friday morning for our first time. The course was in great shape. Its not your typically driver off the tee every Par4 & Par5 hole course. Many of the holes require you to play smart target golf off the tee. The layout offers plenty of trouble and challenges you to play smart golf. If you spray the ball, club up because the rough is punishing as it should be. The greens are huge, hard to miss and very well maintained. The cart paths need redone in many spots but if you ride beside them it's smooth sailing. Watch out for the water you can't see from the fairway on the 18th. At the start of round, there was no one there yet to check us in and we had to start the round without a card. Luckily, we had a GPS we could keep score on. They need to put a mailbox back on the post at Hole 2 stocked with scorecards and pencils to help prevent and mitigate rocky starts. We were told to pay at turn. There was some misunderstands at the turn that resulted in my partner and I paying twice for the round, once thru GolfNow and once at the ProShop at the turn. Upon getting home and discovering I had paid twice, I called the ProShop to recover the over payment. The discussion started out rocky and I thought it was gonna be a hassle getting a refund. However, a short time later I got a call back from the ProShop Manager Don who committed to refunding me the over payment. If they would have had it staffed correctly, scorescards in a mailbox at hole #2, smoother cart paths, sand bottles and club washers on the carts I would have rated it 5 Stars despite the horrible score I posted.
