A brilliant design, but not for hackers.
Par 3's are fair and fun. The par 5's are brilliant and fair. The par fours are brutal an unfair in my opinion. A 17 handicapper should not have to bust a perfect drive then still have a 5 wood to a green on a 4 par.
There are pot bunkers located on every par four that are RIGHT where you need to drive the ball. This then forces a layup on every (or almost) every par four, which means you are playing for bogie most of the time, and that's if you do everything else right.
You really do need to pay attention to which tees you play. As an 18 I played the whites (recommended 11-17) and found it too hard to enjoy completely. My bad? How often do you have to even think of things like that?
Non-golf stuff: no halfway house, no drinks cart, no marshal, limited ball washers, limited garbage cans. Great practice area and some really neat shot opportunities.
