Got paired up with a nice family, mom, dad, and son(17). First time ever for son. We had a fun time of it. I meet such gracious people whenever I play there on Golfnow.

I played with my out-of-town friend from western Mn. We had a great time. Played the 3 nines, pace of play very comfortable, rough is very healthy and penal. A good test of golf. Leroy ( and entire staff) is friendly and very accommodating.

Don 90, Jimmie 80's, Dickie, 78 and me , 64.
The course is in magnificent condition and the staff couldn't be more accommodating. Fall golf at its finest. Drove an hour to play and the scenery was very pleasant, as usual.

Whispering Pines Golf Club
Played On 05/28/2014There's more to this track than meets the eye.
Whispering Pines is named accurately, try aggressive play and the trees subtly coax your ball into trouble. This is a shot-maker's course that dares you to break concentration. A missed fairway usually demanded a shaped approach to some very intimidating greens. The greens had been recently verti-cut & top-dressed but rolled very true. The beautiful weather, hidden gem of a course and friendly manager/owner made a great day of golf, indeed.
