I played the course before it's recent refurbishment and reopening. I always liked the routing. It is great to see it restored to its former condition.

They have not opened the grill.

I played at Ibis Landing in its earlier incarnation. I always like the course. However, it fell on hard times and close for almost 4 years.
The refurbishment has brought back a SW Florida favorite to at least as good as it was before.

The clubhouse, carts starter staff are excellent. The practice range and putting greens are immaculate. The course condition is fully restored to its previous beauty and design. One exception, the 1st and 10th holes are the same yet the other 8 holes were "moved" to the other 9 and the difficult par 5 14th is now a somewhat difficult, short par 4 5th.

Again, I recommend it to anyone who played it before or someone new to the area.

This is a very good layout typical of links golf. Holes are fairly straight-away with few blind shots. Greens were in good condition ... some tilted back to front, some flat, some multilevel ... with little to no grain that I could tell.

Freeways generally wide and rough short to keep pace of play. Lost only one ball ... total miss-hit into long grass that is not in play.

Holes 6-12 play along the ocean with great views but keep your focus as these holes are among the best on the course.

Priced well below other courses around Puerto Rico. Aguadilla is on the west coast and about 2 hours from San Juan HOWEVER well worth the drive.

I play here 2-3 times a year (member at another local course). I like the course layout. It is challenging from the Blue and White tees due to length to the ideal fairway location. Many holes have water left or right but never both. Relatively flat, with some hills which make for blind approach shots. Overall, the layout is fair IF you pick the correct tees for you - 4 sets. Double digit should go to gold but low teens can play the whites. No blind tee shots but some have tight landing areas.

My biggest complaint is that bunkers have little to no sand or its several inches deep. My last round there, the deep sand had furrows several inches deep - deeper than they were wide.

Although only 9 holes, there are 4 sets of tees so it will accommodate all skill levels. Some water and deep bunkers but not overwhelming.

There is no 19th hole but there is lunch available from January through April (in season).

Walkers are welcome anytime.

This course maintenance and quality is much improved this year over my previous visit - 2014. I played here 3 times this year. (I have a membership at another club locally and play at Copperhead when it is closed.)

The fairways are generous and rolling - helps with drainage. The putting greens are large but not huge ... no 100 foot putts ... with 50 footers available on most holes. The greens are contoured and you may find yourself on the wrong side of a mound. The bunkers could use a bit more sand but are still playable. The greens are relatively fast with subtle breaks but very well maintained and smooth.

The driving range is somewhat unique with target greens across water from 50 to 140 yards. The turf is in good condition and the tee area moved regularly.
