Indian River Preserve Golf Club
Played On 02/09/2024This course is well laid out and was designed as a championship course. The clubhouse is beautiful, but the course has not been maintained. Greens are average at best, and the fairways have become lifeless and mostly brown. A great opportunity if an investment were made.
Great Outdoors RV & Golf Resort

The pace of play was extremely slow. We were waiting on every tee box. Totally lost any rhythm. There were 4 ladies who were totally oblivious to anyone else on the course. When I asked about a ranger, I was told they never use one because they don't want to upset any property owners. Also, the greens were over watered. The fringes were like an over soaked sponge. Any ball that landed near the green just stuck right there. I won't be back.

Highlands Reserve Golf Club

The course was quite dry but well laid out and fun to play. Some of the bunkers are very deep. The best way to play them is to stay out of them. The course was very busy and our round took 5 hours to play.
North Shore Golf Course

The course condition was good,. Efficient check in and the starter was very friendly. The course is fairly tight..
Black Bear Golf Club
Played On 01/26/2018The course has a challenging layout. The fairways and greens are good, but everything else is brown and dry.
Harmony Golf Preserve

I loved playing this course. There is lots of water and well placed sand. It is tough, but fair. I am 74 and was playing gold tees, but it was challenging for all levels of golfers. The greens were very firm, but they were consistent. This course is a ways for me to drive, but I look forward to playing it again.

There is plenty of water. If you don't play smart, you will need a few extra balls. There are also lots of sand traps. I felt the course was fair, however.
Indian River Preserve Golf Club

The course is a nice layout, and the conditions have improved in the past year. However, they had overbooked the course and we saw and heard irate customers at several points during the round. They had a scrambled which had engulfed the course. They should have not taken our tee time as we had to wait a considerable amount of time. They started us on the back and when we came around the front we lost our place because a group went in to get something to eat, and then jumped in front of us. In response to our complaints they just said that it would clear up soon when the scramble cleared out.
