Keystone Links Golf & Country Club
Played On 10/10/2013Fun course. Great value
Played here several times this year and was pleasantly surprised how green and lush the course was. The greens rolled great and the fairways were in good condition. The course is challenging but not impossible making for a fun round. The staff is friendly and laid back. I would definitely recommend keystone to my friends.
Six Foot Bay Resort Golf Club
Played On 5/17/2013By Far It's the Most Beautiful Course in the Kawarthas
I've played here many times and it's always been a pleasure. The course has a challenging yet sensible layout and the greens and fairways are always in pristine condition. The beauty of this course is that it's seemingly carved into a forest of a million white pines, it's really something else. The flower beds, ponds and armor stone throughout the course is laid out perfectly. I'd challenge anyone to name a better looking course than six foot.
Baxter Creek Golf Club
Played On 5/11/2013Fun course that's always pristine
Having golfed Baxter Creek a dozen or so times I've always found the course to be in terrific condition. Greens are speedy and true and fairways are well maintained. The course is challenging yet fun. I would recommend this course to anyone.
Kawartha Golf and Country Club
Played On 10/6/2012Underwhelming experience - will not return
Upon arriving at the course unwelcoming staff tried to force my girlfriend and I to pair up with a couple of guys we didn't know because we booked through Golfnow. It was a cool windy day and the course obviously wasn't busy, but for some reason two staff members insisted that we have to be paired up. It wasn't until I made it clear that we were either golfing alone or not golfing at all that they relented.
As for the course, the fairways were well maintained and the greens were perfect. The course is laid out nicely for play however, in terms of scenery it's kind of an ugly course.
Any efficent course would try to pair up twosomes. I don't have a problem with that.
My course would bid you farewell if you made it clear you did not want to be paired up. It's golf standard etiquette.
