Nice course. It has its share of water hazards and challenging, tiered green making it a good challenge for the lower handicap player. Bunkers and cart paths are well cared for. Good staff from the head pro and shop staff to the friendly cart personnel.

Good shape. Cart paths have had some needed strip patching. Bunkers had plenty of sand. Green we’re fair and reasonable.

Really like the back 9 on the South course. Nice sand traps. Fairways and rough were in good shape and fair. Cart paths need repair but I understand the cost.

Nice range and practice areas. Greens were especially fast. Can be a demanding course for middle to high handicappers, otherwise bunkers and water are avoidable.

Greens and fairways were plush. Sand traps need a lot of attention...poor drainage. Cart paths are rough but for a public course, it offers a manageable challenge to low handicappers.

Purgatory Golf Club

Course was in very good condition. Cart paths are being repaired. Course plays tough with lots of bunkers and the greens rolled consistent and true but they are hard to putt due to the contours and levels. Not a flat green on the course. Very challenging. Bring your A game.

Played On 04/25/2017The course and clubhouse showed a lack of maintenance. It is usually an above average conditioned and maintained course but bunkers have had no attention and there appeared to be little staff working the course and only one individual working the clubhouse and beverage area. Bathrooms need attention. Maybe they are waiting for better weather and part-time staff to be employed once college kids are available. I was disappointed as this course is one of my first choices on GolfNow.

Good value during peak season. Course was in very good shape. Playable but the unanimous decision of my foursome was the toughness and difficulty of the greens.
Chippendale Golf Course

Good course w enough difficulty to challenge the mid handicapper.
Cart paths are scheduled for about $60k in repairs on greens aeration day in October. $60k doesn't go far but will help. The drainage issues in the bad areas need to be corrected first.
