First time playing this course and I gotta say I was very impressed with the course conditions and the overall layout of the course. The course is very long off the tips. Over 7,300 and with the course being a bit on the right side you better be on your game if your gonna play from back there. Greens are very true and aware pretty big so make sure you know where the pin placement is. I did like how they had daily pin placements on the carts, kinda wished they had a hole map so you could see what the hole looks like. Overall though a wonderful course

Newer style golf course with lots of long rides between greens and tees, got some houses around but many are out of the way so it doesn't make you feel like you are swinging in a telephone booth. Front 9 is pretty wide open and lets you swing away but pay close attention to the gps on the cart as water that you cannot see comes into play on a few holes, Back 9 winds through the Rocky River on holes 10,11, and 14 and is very scenic. Its a shame the greens were in rough shape as they were aerated probably only a week ago but definitely worth the trip and would definitely make the trip out to play Shale Creek again when the greens are right.

Simply one of the best golf courses in the Cleveland area, Greens were in fantastic shape. Tees and fairways were pristine, the only complaint I had was the 2 groups of front of us who didnt have much of a clue on how to let faster players thru but the course was flat out gorgeous!

Tee to green this is a really pretty course and its in pretty good shape as well, The greens though leave something to be desired. When its firm and dry like it was the last time i played here they are not too bad. but when its wet and soft you see footprints everywhere and putts dont roll well at all. This can be attributed to not having any sand under the greens. I was here when they punched the greens in April and they did not topdress the greens when they punched, they put holes in the greens but didnt sand em which i was puzzled by, if the greens were better this would be a great course but the greens hold this place back.

Busy as usual at Manakiki even on a Monday but the course itself was in fantastic shape. Greens were running smooth fast and very true. Fairways were firm and shaved very nicely. Ball was sitting up and the rough was lush and deep! One of my favorite courses in the Cleveland area. Just wish it wasn't so crowded all the time.

After a week of rain and cold temperatures I was not expecting the course to be in good condition. Early April is always wet and kinda cold so the course was pretty wet but what was surprising was how firm the greens were. It was like hitting into a green sometime in July. The greens were kinda bumpy which wasn't surprising but what was kinda surprising was the greens were very inconsistent in terms of speed. One green was quick but the next was slow so it was hard to figure out how hard to hit the putt.

i played the south east combo and both courses had some very interesting challenges. the east had better greens in my opinion but the south had the better layout. you better hit the ball on the correct part of the green or you will be finding yourself with some putts that resemble what you see at mini golf/putt putt. it's a great course and I look forward to playing it again.

this is a fun course to play because its a total links course, there are no trees pretty much anywhere on the course. what this course lacks in difficulty off the tee more than makes up for it around the greens, Yeah they are big as almost every hole is double greened but youd better be on the right level of your gonna have like 40 putts out here. like i said in my intro its a tad over priced in my opinion but nonetheless its a great course and worth playing if the price is right.

this course is one of the nicest and most challenging in the daytona/orlando area. just dont play it when its not even 60 and the wind is blowing 30-40 cuz youll lose a ton of balls. other than the weather the course itself was pristine as usual.

i figured on monday it would not be too crowded but nonetheless it was packed even at 2pm. so i decided that i wanted to cancel my round they woudlnt let me because they said they have to have a couple of hours notice so they can sell the tee time. so your packed on a monday and your worried about 40 bucks that you wont be getting? i was pretty upset when they would not let me cancel my tee time because i knew i was not gonna be able to finish all 18 holes. they said when you book a twilight tee time you may not always finish. so it bothered me that it was a money thing not about the customer being happy. so i had no choice and i played. the course was in fantastic shape but it was a shame even after playing almost 4 hours we could not get more than 14 holes in. ill definitely come back but probably pick a cooler day or try to come out earlier.

this is one of my favorite courses in the central Florida area!!! The course was in great shape and the greens were true and fast! The layout here is second to none in there area. every hole is different and provides a different challenge. i cant wait to go back here!!!

course was in good shape. Well maintained fairways and greens. Staff was nice. Overall a good course but not a great course. Needs a little more length and challenge. Too many par 4's in the 370-390 range that look the same. Needs a little more variety.

I enjoyed the course as it had a lot of variety, and made you use every club in the bag. I thought the front 9 was a tad bit prettier than the back 9 but both 9's are really nice, Pace of play was kinda slow but for being a resort course this wasn't a surprise. The greens were well maintained but if they would lower the mowers a little more these greens would be spectacular. I enjoyed playing the course and would go back again in the future.

If you wanna come here during the weekend then make sure you dont tee off in the afternoon or youll run into darkness. I teed off at 1:45 and only got 15 holes in before it got dark. The course staff tried to move play along but when you got people taking 7 practice swings and lining up a 3 footer for triple bogey there isnt much the staff could do.Golfer ( if you wish to call them that) are more worried about making that 6 for a net 4 and winning $1.50 rather than finishing in daylight. People just dont get it I guess.

This is a must play. If you want beautiful scenery along with a stern test of golf then you gotta play ChampionsGate. The Internationl course is slightly better of the 2 but both r gorgeous. Its one of those courses that you roll into the parking lot and you know your in for something really special. If your in the area you gotta play this one!

pretty course and friendly staff just not a golf course that I enjoyed playing, has nothing to do with the condition or staff because those were both great. but when you stick a golf course in a housing community its not a lot of fun. some holes reminded me of a bowling alley. if you spray the ball on occasion like me dont come here cuz youll be in someones backyard most of the time and hitting 3 off the tee.

this is one of my favorite courses in the orlando area. great layout and is always in great shape. been a while since i played here. the back 9 is one of the best 9's youll find in central florida or for that matter anywhere else in the state, if you are in the area you should definately check out eagle creek

course needs more markers as it was difficult to find out some yardages, some fairways and tees coulda used a cutting as well

i thought the course was nice, 15 is kinda dumb but overall its a pretty track, well marked wiht yardages on the fairways
