On a weekend golf outing, my friends and I were able to get a pretty decent deal through GolfNow to play at Bent Creek. The clubhouse is somewhat difficult to find. Upon arrival, we were charged with a cart fee and an environmental fee. The front nine was in serious need of maintenance. Most of the greens on the front nine were very patchy and bumpy. The geese and bugs were absolutely unbearable! I have never witnessed an area so infested with bugs in all of my life. The back nine was a pleasant surprise. There were several interesting holes with challenging layouts. However, we were asked to put the carts in for the night, despite the fact that there was still at least an hour and a half of daylight remaining. We only were able to play 15 holes. All things considered, I likely would not recommend this course. The negatives definitely outweighed the positives.

The staff at Southern Hills were extremely rude and very unhelpful, especially the woman behind the desk. She literally threw the golf cart keys at us. After we left the course, my roommate left his watch inside on of the carts. He called to ask if they would go look to make sure the watch was still there and they would not even go look for us. We had to make an extra trip out to the course the next day not knowing if the watch was still there or not.

The course also looks terrible. The greens literally have sod on them. The fairways consist of crab grass and weeds. The tee boxes are nothing but dirt and mud. On one of the holes, it was literally nothing but dirt and mud until you got to the green. On this same hole, there was even a bulldozer sitting out in the middle of the fairway!! Needless to say, this course is in awful condition and the extremely rude staff just add to my dissatisfaction. I would highly recommend going somewhere else to play golf.
