A true and fair test in spectacular location

If you’ve got one course to go to in the Big Island (and you’re not staying at the Four Seasona) you have to play Mauna Kea. This Jones (RTjr and Rees) layout is a real golf course in a resort setting. Elevation changes, blind shots, tricking slopes greens, and THAT 3rd hole - if you’re a golfer, you’ll love this course. There are other beatiful courses in the island but they’re tamed down for the tourists. Mauna Kea the first, the original - you gotta try it

Beautiful, Challenging, and Great Value

The Sea Ranch Golf Links has been a constant on the northern Sonoma coast. From the 8th green you can watch whales spouting, and the rolling fairways bordered by native grasses and its tight greens make this more than a challenge. Like all coastal courses in CA, the downwind and upwind holes demand a deft touch. During the summer, when it dries out, it plays like a true links course. Rent a house, play a few rounds -- well worth it.
