Flat but long

Played the Butterfield course have to admit it's fun. Long fairways most of them are tree lined , 5 holes have water in play , it's pretty flat do
Don't expect too much run out .
Negatives --- the smell it's pretty ripe out there
Lots of dirt patches in the fairways
The club house is very Spartan don't expect a full
Stocked store
carts our literally was falls my apart
Positives ..price it can't be beat we got out there for $40 with cart
It's really challenging
The breakfast burrito is worth the $6.25
Rate of play just under 4 hrs 20 mins for our 4some

Beat the heat & The course

Just played today and really enjoyed it , excellent bang for your buck , as to be expected it was like a furnace today very little breeze .
Front 9
Is a true links course back 9
Is more of a traditional American course trees, water and the occasional cactus in a tricky spot , I've seen a lot of people complain about the wind or the service staff but I'd have to say it was a great experience for
Me and my group , I'll
Be back in winter for sure

1970s style course

This is in our steady rotation we play here once a month .
Sometimes we can play within 3 hrs sometimes 5 hrs , course usually is in good condition only issue I've run into is duck leave little presents on a few greens , I'd also suggest don't touch the water (toxic) . Club house has a great vibe and the range is decent ( they have 2) ..
There are some really great challenging holes here and I'd say pending the weather you should be able to collect a few birdies. Bring extra balls as sometimes balls disappear

Oldie but goodie

I've been playing here for maybe a decade , I'd say once every 3 months, problem with this course is during the summer it dries out and becomes super hard so expect no love from the greens or fairways .
Do not expect to play 9 holes in under 2 hours it always seems to back up around hole3 this is the first of 2 that are over 300 yards , overall there are some tough but fun holes but I'd recommend playing there in the spring
