This has become one of our favorite courses to play. Always well maintained and very friendly staff.

We played the Wilderness Valley course, which could be a beauty. We were told they were having irrigation problems at both courses. However, what we saw was a total lack of care that went above and beyond irrigation problems. The tees boxes were not just dirt, they were trashy. We felt the course was being totally neglected. No sand in the traps and the greens were uneven to name just two of their problems.

We rated the value as a four because we had a hot deal from Golf Now. Had we paid full price it would have been a three. It was a pleasant course and would definitely play it again. As a gentleman at the bar said, "you're either visiting relatives or passing through because no one just ever comes here to play golf." We were very impressed that a small town course was doing so well.

We found the course to be in great shape. The fairways and greens were well cared for. While it wasn't a very difficult course, slope for women was 110, it offered enough of a challenge for a good game of golf. The clubhouse only offered soft drinks. Also, they had no water or cart service available on the course so bring your own if you think you may get thirsty.

A very nice scenic course which was fun to play. The price was definitely right. FYI...The locals pack in on Wednesdays since the price is $10 which includes the cart.

We played this course for the first time last week and plan to play it again tomorrow before we leave the area. A beautiful course and fun to play. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and welcoming.

This course is a fun course to play...difficult but definitely fun. Sixteen holes have a water hazard. Ladies, there are no women's tees but don't let that stop you from enjoying the course. Right now the fairways and greens are in great shape. Being Texas and the summers being usually brutal having green fairways and greens is a plus.
