My husband and I can't say enough nice things about this course.
It is an executive course par 61, but the layout will still challenge any golfer. Great place to work on your short game.

Thankful that we can still play golf in Arizona. The staff is very accommodating even with the CDC guidelines in place.

We are so thankful that our Governor put golf courses on the Essential Business list.

I use a Garmin with the Golf App. Even though I downloaded the course to my smartwatch it never tracked our movement down the fairways. Many holes were wrong. It would show a Par 3 for a Par 5.
Playing this course for the first time was very difficult even for our golfer with 45+ years experience and 6 handicap.
Very surprised at the hills in a primarily flat agricultural city.

Course was in great shape. The greens are still pretty dry, but the desert areas had recently been graded making it much easier to find your errant ball. Monsoon season starts in about two weeks. So, get out there now before the storms hit.

We used to have a membership here. Last year the course shut down from May 1 to Octobet 8th.
Nothing was done to the course all summer. This course was built in 1962! The irrigation system is failing. We didn't feel the course owner cares enough to fix the problems.
It shows on several holes that get overwatered. Some of the greens have bald patches that will get worse when the course shuts down June 1st this year.
It's okay for the occasional round, but I won't waste my money on a membership. It's sad to see this as I used to really enjoy playing here.

Considering we have been getting more than our usual rainfall and unseasonably cold weather for the Sonoran Desert in Arizona; the course was in much better condition than when it opened for the season October 5th, 2018.
In fact there was only one golfer ahead of us at our 8:00am tee time. We only saw 3 more golfers behind us when we reached the 7th hole. By the 12th hole Mother Nature said "There'll be no more of that!". The skies opened up and we were drenched........Done! We left without even considering playing anymore. Turns out there were funnel clouds spotted not 30 miles away yesterday!

Yesterday was not normal for Phoenix in February. There has been unusually cold weather for far longer than an average year. Therefore the course is suffering. The greens have taken a beating. We were the first tee time of the day at 7:45 am and it was well over an hour before we got to the first tee box. I don't recommend this course for at least a month until the greens start growing again. The bunkers have very little sand, so you're lucky if you can get out without flying over the green.

Very nicely maintained. Don't let the length of the course fool you. The greens were challenging.
Looking forward to playing again.
