At $30 it's priced Rightl. Facilities need capital improvements.

As the title says the course is priced right at $30 through golfnow.com. The course and clubhouse need maintenance and ugrading. Gas carts are beat up and have torn bumpers. The neighborhood surrounds a large lake with small docks for mostly canoes and pontoon boats. 15 to 25 years ago it probably was a first class facility but time has worn the neighborhood course. When checking in the staff was not friendly in fact gave us no instructions about range balls, which course to play, the direction to go the. Trek coirse, and on top it of all our gas card ran out of gas between holes 10 and 11! Somebody's not paying attention! But as I said for 30 bucks it was fine

Very scenic. Nice design.

Chose this course at the last minute. I'm visiting from Texas. Drove out from McLean and well worth it. Very nice course for the money. The course routing is varied and interesting. Although it is early in the season and most of the trees were still mostly bare there was a lot of color from blooming vegetation.

The greens rolled very nicely and were consistent.

The downside.

As stated it is still early in the season and the fairways were rather spongy and moist. These soft fairways caused VERY deep divots in most of the fairways. On the 8th hole my ball stopped in one of these deep divots. The divot was so deep I would not have been able to get my club down to the majority of the ball. The grass had grown back to a degree and the divot was not very wide. I suppose they could sand these areas especially on holes where divots are plentiful. Most green side bunkers had white consistent sand but several fairways bunkers need new sand and a few fairway bunkers were marked ground under repair.

The 18th hole is a bit odd so try to preview the layout before teeing off.

Overall, I highly recommend this course and it was worth the drive from McLean.

The GM was handling the cart duties because the usual cart "person" did not make it in on Saturday. He was friendly and even made it a point to keep a rather slow foursome on pace ahead of our threesome.

"Quiet" golf course in Frio River Valley. Good value for price.

I've played ConCan since it opened and it is really a great layout. From the next to back tees it can be a good challenge not to mention the back tees. The course could be in better shape but for the price it is a good value. The greens are rather spongy and this is my biggest complaint. I noticed the first time I played the course that if there are no people or kids playing in the few houses on the course, it is the most quiet golf course I've ever played. There are many beautiful views of the surrounding "mountains".
