Good course but over priced

The greens are very good with fairways in OK conditions. The layouts are good with few very long holes and a lot of doglegs. The course is at the Biscayne Bay so some holes are quiet
smelly. Also, there are many mosquitoes in the summer so it may be a good idea to spray some bug repellent first. Overall, the course is good and fun to play but it's way over priced.

A Challenge course

I would say the course condition is good and it's quiet challenge to play for first timers. Most cart paths are sandy and almost zero chance to recover your ball if it's off the fairway. It's fun but challenging.

Another good course to play in the area

It's not a very long course for those who expect to play long; the back tee is less than 6600 yards. Other than that, it's fairly good, FL type course to play in the area.

Ok course conditions but others 5 start

I played in the afternoon after a moderate rain. The draining system of the course is not that good. The overall course condition is average. The golf cart has a none graphical GPS system. It's a pricey course to play since it runs like a private club.
The course is very long for most people due to its design and the rough is very rough.
Now comes the 5 start features/services: Friendly staff, free unlimited range balls, free unlimited icy cold bottle water, very good and challenging layouts, undulated greens and fairways. I will play this course again if the price is right.

A Very challenging and beautiful resort course

Try whatever possible not to get into the bunkers because they are deep and very unfriendly, even the fairway bunkers. The greens are high and so undulating. Plan for wedge shots when approaching the greens; otherwise, the ball will likely roll off the greens. That is, plan for short than long when hitting the greens.
The overall course condition is excellent with beautiful pines and layouts. The staff members are surprisingly friendly. They even have rangers cruise the course handing out cool towels. The cart is equipped with not so advanced but good enough GPS system. In addition to the occasional cool towel, the cart also has an ice cooler to cool you off in a steamy Orlando weather. This is one of my must-play courses when I am in Orlando next time.

An excellent course to play

I played the Panther Lake this time. The layouts, tee boxes, fairways, greens, and the environment are overall very good and deserve an almost 5-star rating. It's in a remote area just outside of Orlando so the area is very open, scenic, with a lot of wild animals. There are enough elevations on the fairways and greens to make everyone feel challenge and fun. This definitely be one of my must-play courses when I am in Orlando next time.

Good course but unfriendly staff

The overall course condition is OK which is about 3 to 3.5 star. The fairs and tee boxes are not that good. The greens are in good conditions with a lot of undulations. You need to know where to hit on the green; otherwise, the ball will roll away and away from the hole.
The course is challenge with enough turns and hazards to make you plan & think before hitting. The major complaint is the staff. I came early and ask to start early since the course is not busy at all. The starter and the pro shop staff just don't let me go and ask me to wait until my tee time is up. I can understand it if the course is full of players but it was nearly empty. I would not come back to play it again. There are many other good courses nearby with friendly staff.

Good layout but poor course conditions

The 3 9-hole layouts are good and challenging to play. A lot of doglegs, water and bush hazards. You need to plan your shots very good. The environment is beautiful with plenty of wild animals on the site. However, the course conditions are not that good with Eagle being the worst. I would say both Heron and Osprey are good and acceptable but Eagle is on the poor side. With less than $20 summer rate, I would still recommend the course.

Relatively easy course to play

The course condition is good and it's not difficult to play. The fairways are big with undulating greens. There are a lot of people working on the field to maintain the course. Comparing to other nearby similar condition courses, it's price is kind of high.

Great course for practice

This is a short course with very good conditions. The fairways are narrow with a lot of hazards on the sides. It's a good course for practicing your irons and woods.

Another good course to play in the area

The layout and the greens are good but some fairways are ok. It's moderately challenging with enough water, trees, elevations, etc.
Overall, I would say it's a 3.5 start course in terms of condition when comparing to nearby courses. It's fun to play here and I will do it again for the right $. The course is kind of busy.

OK and playable course

Comparing other nearby 4-star courses, I would give this one a 3.5 on its condition. It's an old, typical FL course with no GPS on carts. It's a very busy course at this time of the year so some times the pace of play is slow. Staff is very friendly.

I would play this course again if the money is right.

A challenge East course at premium price

A challenge course with plenty of green elevations and contours. The layout is good and it's fun to play here. There are few holes in the front 9 are in poor condition but the back 9 is good. Therefore, the overall course condition is around 3 to 3.5 stars. The price is awfully expensive given the course condition. I would play it in the upper $20s to lower $30s.

OK and playable course

The condition of the course is average at a rating of about 3.5 stars in the area. I remember it used to be better. It's a busy course and a slow play during this time of the year. I would play it again in the $20s.

Good and beautiful course but too pricey

The layouts are good, the greens are good, but some fairways are ok and it's fun (golf is always fun). The playing pace is surprisingly good on that day. I like the golf cart that comes with ball & club washing in addition to the GPS which most golf courses do not offer those options. Unlimited free range golf balls for before & after the game and a good practice area are a very big plus for playing here. Valet parking only for $7 if you play golf here. Even with all the perks, it's still too pricey to play here.

Good course but slow play

The course is good but I would say it's too pricey to play now unless you can get it around $25. The pace of play is slow. This is an old golf course so the fairway and green surfaces are kind of hard. The greens are well maintained but the tee boxes and fairways are OK.

Another good course to play

I played at the summer rate so the value was good. We played the Gold & Red courses. The layouts are good. One of them you actually need to hit over the houses to reach the green within about 30 yards or on the green if you're a long hitter. The courses have enough water to challenge your game. I will there again when the price is right.

Used to like it but its condition is not looking good

I used to play here a lot and liked it very much about 7 months ago. I just played it last weekend and honestly speaking it's not worth the $40 they asked for. For the current condition, I would say it should be $15 or less. The fairways and tee boxes are in bad conditions. Some greens with patches. Looks like the courses are not being maintained.

A must play course in S. Florida

This course is challenging that requires you to hit straight shots; otherwise, you will not be able to recover your ball from the bush hazards. It's also very fun to play here since the course layouts and views are totally different than those typical FL courses. The course is built on top of an old dumpster so it's also called the Dumpster course. Due to this, some holes are stink but not too bad. For most holes you can't see the greens from the tee boxes or fairways so it's kind of confuse where to hit your ball for those who play here in the first time. Some holes you need to either hit up or down to the greens from the hilly fairways or tee boxes. That's where the most fun comes in for this course. Needless to say, go out to play this course and you will have a lot of fun.
