There is nothing more frustrating than hitting a perfect drive right down the middle of the fairway only to find your ball sitting in a sunken patch of dirt. Golfers are suppose to be rewarded for shots like this, not penalized by hitting out of crap like that! There are spots like this all over the course and it’s unacceptable! Also, the bunker sand is rock hard in many of the bunkers making it impossible to make a decent shot! I thought this course had new ownership that was improving things. We’ve played this course many times as we like to get out of the heat in Phoenix. We will no longer make the drive as long as these conditions exist. I see very little improvement with the change of ownership and in some cases the course is worse!

If you don't want to spend five plus hours playing 18 holes, DON'T PLAY THIS COURSE!! We drove an hour from Scottsdale to try the course. We called for a Marshall after the fourth hole due to group in front of us hitting multiple balls on shots and extremely slow pace of play. The course said they were sending a Marshall. We never saw one. We were at 3 1/2 hours after finishing only 11 holes. We quit after that and drove in. Clerk in pro shop was a jerk, said he couldn't do anything, and indicated that his computer was not showing a slow pace of play. We will NEVER play this course again and if you don't want a HORRIBLE golf experience, don't play this course!!

No Marshall, no starter, putting greens in the worst condition I’ve ever played on. Pace of play was so bad we quit after 9 even though we paid for 18. We were waiting for 15 minutes per T-box from hole 5 on. Too bad that the quality control is so poor as the course is beautiful and the layout very challenging.

Pace of play was good but it was a Friday morning so hard to know what it would be like on the weekend as there is no Marshall that I saw. Relatively challenging Course with lots of dog legs and narrow fairways. Greens were nicely groomed prob stimping 9. Course a bit dry for my liking. One of the few "budget" courses in Phoenix that's not located in the hood! I'm originally from San Diego and am shocked at how many courses throughout Phoenix that are run down and located in neighborhoods I wouldn't drive through! This course isn't one of them thank goodness!

We played a twilight round at 4:00 pm to avoid the heat! We've played the course three times now as we drive up from Phoenix. The weather is always so much better in Prescott. Greens were in fantastic shape (10 stimp) and the course is always nicely groomed. We will play this course as often as possible as it's so much more scenic than anything in the desert!!

We love to get out of Phoenix to golf this time of year and this is one of those courses that is worth the hour and a half drive to get there. 80 degree temps, very nice course layout as very few fairways are right next to one another, fairways perfectly cut and the greens probably stimp around 9. Only one complaint is that I didn't see a starter and never saw a Marshall during our round. We got behind a couple that was extremely slow and no Marshall came around to address that.

Course is just over 4,000 yards from the white tees but it is well groomed and laid out well. A bunch of par three's so good if you like working on that part of your game.

We only played 9 of the 18 holes we paid for because the course was in such poor condition. The greens were probably stimping a 6-7. The pro shop manager didn't seem to care when I told him that that we quit due to the course conditions. BTW, the course is basically in the middle of the hood!

This course is by far the worst I've ever played. The layout is awful as we were almost hit by balls on several occasions. Really bad golfers on this course. There was no Marshall so it was backed up beyond belief. There were walking players in front of players with carts. It took us six hours to get to hole 16 and we finally quit without playing 17 and 18. Pro shop manager was very rude and said that's what you get for playing on the busiest day of the year. They have zero accountability for how they run their course! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and will never go back!
