Great layout. Fabulous views. Welcoming staff. These are the good points.
Disappointing - bunkers poor - little sand and some water filled.
Disturbing - 5+ Hours for round - see other comments - seems to be the norm!
We travelled over an hour each way to the course, started late 1/2 hour delay and took over 5 hours to play - 8 hours in total!
No apology from staff when I complained - just "it has been a busy day" and "the folks ahead of you took 51/2 hours" - no Marshall on the course.
Sorry but this is too slow by far.
Probably will not be back which is a shame.

Notice on 10th tee states play should be 4 hours for 18.
Seldom the case here! 5 hours and 15 minutes for this round with no signs of a Marshall. Four groups on some holes.
If you have nothing but time this is a nice course to play but if you have other plans for the day go elsewhere.
I do not think we will be back which is a shame.

Greens rough +
Group lost 5 balls in waterlogged sand traps!!
No effort to drain several inches of water in all traps.
Fairways definitely better than last year but this is not a sixty dollar golf course in its present shape.
If you can get a deal still worth the trip to see what is an amazing lay out - but still needs a lot of TLC.
Good news is that they are trying and should be supported.

Took advantage of the Golf Now deal of a foursome for $80. No mention of redoing greens. When I called they did tell me what they were doing but as I had already paid with no chance of refund we went. Not only the greens are dead and impossible to play - the fairways are bare and rock hard with a few saturated spots.
Our playing partners were not able to play so finished up paying $80 for two. In ideal conditions this would be OK but for this it was a rip off. Always happy with Golf Now and this was the first bad experience. They should have warned players of what to expect.
In addition the golf shop staff made no effort to apologize or to give any type of refund or compensation for a very poor and very expensive days golf.
Avoid until later - a lot of work needed. If done properly they will have a great course but in addition to improving the course they need to train their staff to be more considerate and people friendly.
We thought of joining next year but if the feel at the course does not change we will go elsewhere.
Speed of play great - there was one other threesome on the course --- I wonder why!!!

Took 3 hours for front nine!!!
Luckily back 9 was a bit faster---- but over 5 hours is unacceptable. They really push folks out every six minutes which leads to congestion and waiting for every shot.
Course in great shape considering the amount of play this course gets.

Good to see this course back in business after a closure which left the course in need of TLC. They are working on it but traps in particular are poor and spoil an otherwise good experience. To avoid frustration suggest you play them in the most part as GUR.
On the positive side the price is right and the staff very helpful and frindly. Great views and interesting holes.
PS - everything slopes to the valley floor!!

Course is in excellent shape and although not the most challenging in the area presents enough to suit all levels of play.
Where other courses seem to be declining Haven has made the effort and spent the money to keep their course in great playable condition.
If in the area well worth the money - altogether a great day.

This course was a favorite in the past but has declined in the last two years. Fairways are patchy and need more water. Greens remain good.
Too bad to see a great course suffer from lack of attention.
