Silver Lake is a hidden gem in NYC. Have played this course going in 30 years, and have seen its evolution from dirt and mud muni track to a great little course that forces the use of all clubs in the bag, especially from tee, and best greens in the city. Look forward to even more progression in what seems to be new tee boxes on 2, 13, and 17.

Great layout and holes have you thinking where to hit every shot. Back 9 length is the challenge versus anything else natural in play.
LaTourette Golf Course

Played SI's favorite track on Saturday in 20 MPH winds. Fairways, and greens showed the effects of the harsh winter. Nothing better than playing though. New this year is a reverse of the 9's back to Latourette's early days, with 10 now being the opening hole.
