LPGA International - Jones Course
Played On 10/17/2023Nice course
Would give it 5 stars but we were behind some Daytona race course company golf tournament and the front nine took us 2:25 before they let us go through on the 9th hole :-(((
LPGA International - Jones Course
Played On 09/26/2022Food service was non existent
Course was fine. No Marshall so we teed off 20min early. No cart girl for beverages. Snack shop between nines was run by 2 ladies who’s conversations were more important than doing their jobs correctly. Also they put Bud Light beer instead of what I asked for which was Miller Lite. :-(((
LPGA International - Jones Course

Great user friendly course. The Hills course is better for single digit HDCP’s. Sometimes during a rainy day prior, this course can be cart path only. Luckily for us things drained very well and that was not an issue. Mostly a north / south orientation so easterly/westernly winds are OK. Have played it 2-3 times a year for past 11yrs although it’s a 45MIN ride. Cart girl may or may not show up consistently.
LPGA International - Jones Course
Played On 04/14/2022Nice course in Daytona Beach area
Played here a dozen times in the past. Pace of play is rather slow due to foursomes vs. twosomes on course. Never seen a Marshall out on the course monitoring pace. Course usually in great shape except when it rains. Drainage is poor because it’s not a sandy course and when it’s wet, cart path only/90 degree rules go into effect quite often. Employees usually very helpful.. Hills course way more difficult than the Jones course and would recommend it for single digit handicap players.
Palm Harbor Golf Club
Played On 11/26/2021Close to The Hammock golf course
Very narrow course. Greens were slow, but in good shape. Sand traps were very good.
The Ledges Golf Club
Played On 03/27/2021Very slow pace on a Saturday.
For the price of this golf course it is totally unacceptable to only get in 16 holes in 5:00hrs. We left after hole #16 when we looked back at hole #15 and saw 3 X 4somes on the same hole. The Marshalls do not demand pace at all. Also, the greens are ridiculous. The PGA boys thought Chambers Bay was crazy, they would walk off this place after their practice rounds.
Coral Canyon Golf Course
Played On 03/26/2021Fun layout
Course has a fun layout. No holes are similar. Thought the greens were not really fast. Still lots of construction going on.
Golf Club At South Hampton
Played On 11/07/2020Slow day on South Hampton
Played on a Saturday and the round took 5:35 Two foursomes from California were ahead of us and they all borrowed clubs from each other. That and cart path only made the round extremely long. The Ranger should have changed the cart rules to at least 90% during the day but he didn't. All the fairways were dry by noon.
The Club at Venetian Bay
Played On 04/22/2019Greens need to be replaced on some holes
Most of the course is in good shape. Right now the greens are in really bad shape. Our group instituted the 2 putt rule after hole #1. Hope management can fix the greens because the course was in great shape a few years ago.
Golf Club At South Hampton
Played On 10/12/2015Fairly open course for Florida
Since they just top seeded for winter play, the sprinkler systems went off on a few holes, but that's understandable. Greens a little slower than normal, fairways in great shape. Best new thing is the left trap on #5 is much improved. Bag drop boy was not there, so had to set up our own carts which was unusual.
LPGA International - Jones Course
Played On 09/20/2015This used to be our FAV course in the South JAX to Daytona area.
Having played there the other day with cart path only rules, things just aren't the same. If it rains, then turn off all the sprinklers!!! Sloppy is a kind word. Even on a dry spell you'll never get any roll on this course. Ball will plug most every time. Yes, fairways are very green. Greens are very sandy and firm. Have never repaired a divot on these greens! So you think all the course is the same, well fairways are totally opposite of the greens. And, the greens are very, very slow. St. John's Country Club up north have the fastest greens around maybe the exception is Timacuan in NE Orlando. The Hills course is very difficult for my wife so not allowed to play there anymore. Even the "starter" said #7 is the toughest par 3/5 anywhere. Moving on to courses that a drive will actually roll more than a few inches.
Hi. We appreciate you taking the time to review the course. We are going to pass on your feedback to the teams in charge so they can work to make changes. We hope to see you again in the future.
