Booked a 1:58 start as a solo expecting to be paired accordingly. I arrived at 1:00. Walked to bag drop and was told carts would be available as they came in so I should come back for a cart. While waiting to pay I watched another couple decide to leave because of delays. I was in Orlando on vacation and had driven an hour to play this course so decided to stick it out. I asked for directions to the range and walked down to find that I had to purchase a tiny $7 bucket of balls at the pro shop... warmed up and proceeded to starter at 1:55. Starter had no clue who I was and seemed completely confused as to where the 1:58 group was. Eventually he pointed at a group down the 1st fairway and said I should be with them. A 4-some and a 3-some were stacked at the first box and they tried to put me with the 4-some with no extra cart available... we were all so confused. I was told that after the groups waiting at #1 there were two groups of 4 and a group of 3.. after that they could try to work me in as a solo. Sounds like a 6hr round ready to start at 3:00.... out of frustration I requested a refund. Even the refund process was a hassle. If you are a local I suppose this could be tolerated. As an out of state golfer hoping to play a decent course away from the resort setting this was beyond bad.
