Bonita Fairways

Played On 01/13/2017Straight and narrow
Typical Florida course - narrow fairways, water, trees, undulating greens. Nothing special good or bad.
Hi "thelinks4u" Thank you for the honest review. We appreciate your honest feedback. Please come back and see us again soon.
Royal St. Augustine Golf and Country Club
Played On 01/05/2017Lots of water
Decent course conditions. Just keep your ball in the fairway.
Bent Creek Golf Course
Played On 10/10/2016Gary would not be pleased
I booked the round w/Hot Deal ($25 w/cart), and would not spend more than that. Lost more balls than I have in 3 yrs due to terrain, long grass/tree perimeters, and meandering creeks. No hole diagrams, 2 ball washes on the entire course (several muddy areas), greens were in terrible shape so you could not judge speed, and it took 5 hrs to do the round (no ranger on the course). also, the bunkers are terrible.
All in all, not a pleasant experience.
Woodley Lakes Golf Course
Played On 03/15/2016First timer here
The municipal course was in OK shape, considering the drought conditions. While the fairways had some rough areas, the greens were in very good condition. My only warning is booking on GolfNow, you are charged for a cart, but if you ride single, they charge an extra $4.
Los Lagos at Costa Mesa Golf & Country Club
Played On 03/09/2016great escape
The fairways are having some mold issues, but the greens are in excellent condition, and very challenging. Typical California undulation, so bring your A game putting.
Thank you for taking the time to review us. Your feedback is valuable, and we look forward to delivering you excellent service again soon. Los Lagos at Costa Mesa Golf & Country Club thanks you!
The Champion Turf Club at St. James
Played On 01/12/2016Cool Florida
Previous reviews say this course has gone through several improvements in the past year. My first and only play could not confirm this, but it was decent. Fairways were very wet, many tire tracks, but lift and clean worked fine. Greens are challenging, very sloped, but I have played worse.
Price was $54/18 holes w/cart. Florida pricing.
thelinks4u,
Glad you enjoyed your time! With the recent rains, the course was no doubt wet. We hope your next experience with us yields a 5-star review and more importantly not as wet! See you again soon?
Best,

Great Eagle Golf Club

The threesome that I played with said this was the slowest round they ever played on this course. Almost 5 hrs, and no ranger in sight to get things moving.
Course was a bit challenging if you got off of the fairways. Many, many deep swails all over the sides made it challenging. Hit it straight and you will enjoy the course.
Hillcrest Golf Club at Sun City West
Played On 03/19/2015Local Favorite
The fairways were narrow with green grass, wide with brown grass. Lots of standing water from the previous days rain. Greens were in good condition, and very challenging with the undulations.
Wildcat Crossing Golf Club
Played On 01/17/2015Not Majestic
Majestic is only in name, not conditions. White tee boxes were all torn up, many of the greens were diseased, and several fairways were in need of grass. The 40 minute drive to get here was not worth the money saved on the GolfNow rate.
Hibiscus Golf Club

Avg course condition. Someone was wearing spike shoes and ruining the greens. Told Ranger, but nothing happened.
Peoria Pines Golf Club
Played On 03/29/2014Executive course
Booked without noticing it was an executive course. While disappointed in the yardage, the course is in good shape, greens are a challenge, and good place to work on your short game. There are a couple of par 5's and 4's, so you can keep your driver warmed up.
Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club
Played On 03/22/2014Resort course
This course is located in an RV resort, but is open to the public. While it meanders through the resort, you never feel like you are imposing on the residents. We are staying at the resort in our RV for 2 weeks, and I will play this course again before we leave at the end of the month. It is also conveniently located near the White Sox spring training facility, which brought me to this location.
Grand Canyon University Golf Course
Played On 03/18/2014municipal quality
As a first time player here, I was not sure what to expect at this municipal course. Good part was the fairways and greens were watered and in good shape. Bad news was the fairways are narrow, and the "rough" was all dirt and dead debris. Greens were a challenge to putt, as they had all types of undulations. Also, they planted the trees too close to my ball on many holes.
Jimmy Clay Golf Course
Played On 03/14/2014municipal course
The players I was paired up with said the course had been renovated a few years ago, but the greens were in bad shape with fungal disease. Fairways were not irrigated, so they were dry and lacking of turf. Being an RV'er, I have played many courses around the country, and this one would be in my bottom 40%. Price was $27, including cart, which was probably fair considering the location. Many trees to plan around, and a few water hazards.
Riviera Golf Club
Played On 02/17/2014Over Priced
Course not worth the price, but it fit in with everything else in this part of Florida. Golf Now discount did not make it worthwhile.
Agave Highlands
Played On 9/25/2013Changes with the wind
I played this course for the 4th time yesterday over a two year period. I play it infrequently, because we are RV'ers and travel around to many parts of the country. When staying in Sedona, I always book this course, due to it's fair green fees, maintained course, and a fair layout. I have had good to average scores until yesterday, when there was a 40 mph wind blowing the entire round. The fairways were being aerated, which also added to some challenging shots.
Valley of the Moon Golf Club
Played On 9/18/2013under repair
We were camping in a nearby city and used golfnow to find something reasonable to play. Past reviews were mixed, but I decided to try the course. It was obvious from the start that it was under repair, as one hole was closed, another was split in to two holes to make up for the shortage, and there was major ground work being done. With that said, the course was empty; I played by myself, and finished in just over 3 hrs. Score was comparable to other western courses I have played on this RV trip.
The Mook at Alderbrook
Played On 9/2/2013Not a lot of choices
While camping north of Tillamook, Or., I was looking for a close 18 hole course. GolfNow gave me three selections, two of which were par3 or putt-putt. I looked into Alderbrook, and read the three reviews. Of course, none of the reviews agreed with each other. I gambled and was not disappointed. The back 9 needs some work on the fairways and greens, but in all it was a fine day. P.S. - the course was deserted on Labor Day?
