The Preserve at Eisenhower Golf Course
Played On 07/16/2021First time play
I have to say that this was a pleasant surprise to my local golf. Even though I am in DC, Eisenhower is not a bad ride if you time it right. I went out on a Friday morning early.
I love the hummocks idea as something different to bunkers. I played from the Green Tees, but will move to the Blue. I shot an 48/41 because I stunk up the first four holes, but that's why I am a 13. The new golf carts are plush. The greens rolled slow, but hear its to keep them alive with the heat and play. Fairways are very firm, but I felt like I was playing a links course which isn't bad. Had a great starter! Even thought the snack/pro shop were in a temporary structure, I still felt it was fine. I'm happy with my first experience.

For the end of winter I'm not sure you'll get a better deal on a course in the area. Course was in pretty good shape, pace was good, and you couldn't buy a better day weather wise in Nov.
TPC Las Vegas

When you come to play at a TPC course, you expect a top notch experience..i have played several other clurses around the country and have never been as surprised as I was on this occasion.
After stopping in the Pro Shop to buy several items. No mention of any overseeding, mats at the driving range, or no carts on the fairway.
As usual, the blame went to Golfnow not letting people know. At the end of the round, I went into the Pro Shop to pick up my bag tags and was asked by the manager, How were things? So I explained everything only to get the Golfnow answer.
I can tolerant and understand about the overseeding, but not notifying golfers before you pay money, or show up that no carts on the fairway and the failure of communication only to be sitting in the cart before teeing off and the starter saying we are telling you now if you dont want to go out.
I think its pretty clear there are management issues. A good gesture of even taking care of the bag tags could have been nice.
Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club
Played On 08/05/2017Worth playing
If money isn't a big deal, or you catch a deal on golf for $80-$90, then Raspberry Falls is a great place to play. There is a country club atmosphere, in a public setting.
When you pull up, a vested valet picks up your clubs in the parking lot and takes them to your cart. The pro shop is well stocked with quality merchandise, and the gentlemen in the back may have a tad bit more "attitude" than needed, but it wasn't a rude experience. In other words, maybe lighten up a little...
The driving range is free to warm up. If you could hit off grass instead of mats, it would be perfect. But it's very nice to go out hit, and not have to worry.
The course is beautifully laid out, in great condition, and challenging from the Blue tees as I am a 14 handicap. I would say right now in the NOVA area, this is my second favorite choice to play now. Stonewall is still #1.
Thank you for your review and feedback of your recent experience at TPC Las Vegas. We truly regret the cart path issue affected your day to such a degree. We try our best to communicate our conditions as honestly and thoroughly as possible.
With that being said, when customers do not book directly with the course, they run the risk of not receiving accurate information. That appears to be the case with your reservation. Your issue should be with Golf Now, not the course. Our booking portal and staff clearly communicate our conditions.
Hopefully there can be a silver lining to this experience and moving forward you will reserve more of your rounds directly with course to avoid a repeat of your experience this time. Thanks and take care.
