Booked on GolfNow but found out after booking that greens have been destroyed by insects. Course website was honest with players but GolfNow did not make that information available. Did not have the option to cancel since it was a Hot Deal.

Course in excellent condition especially the greens. Played in a twosome in 4 hours flat! Only issue was trying to find the course. Tried several GPS Apps on iPhone none of which could direct me to the course likely due to construction detour. Suggest first time visitors call ahead for directions,

Have played Panorama for over 20 years and it is in the best condition EVER. Never realized how challenging the greens could be under slower conditions of the past. Keep a close eye on your ball if heading toward the rough. The Bermuda is very deep and the fall leaves are making finding errant shots difficult at best.

Greens in good shape for this early in the season. They roll very true as well and are not overly undulating like some courses in the area. Always enjoy playing Cypress Lakes.

Had been quite dry lately so expected it to be dusty and was not disappointed. Fairway grass very sparse even for winter. So approach shots very challenging, easy to hit fat off the concrete.

Played Southwyck for the first time in 15 years. Good news, gorse removed since then, hard fairways provided extra roll, greens in great shape. Bad news, fairways so bumpy needed a kidney belt to drive on them.

Enjoyed a fast round, almost no one on the course. Greens in great shape.

I find the course plays a bit longer than the card says. Would like it better if there were a set of tees at about 6000 yrds. Bunkers and greens in great shape.

The young lady at the club house service desk was very personable and professional. Your Starter Gary was extremely friendly and accommodating making my round more enjoyable. Greens were over seeded so a bit slow and spongy but rolled pretty true given that. Wide fairways and sufficient tees accommodate the range of handicaps you must get. Thoroughly enjoyed the round even in a 15 MPH+ wind.

All in all an excellent experience. Although as I dropped off my cart at the end of the round, I turned in a head cover I found during the round. Someone from the clubhouse, management I assume based on dress, happened to be in the area and reached out to take possession of the item. I didn't get as much as a grunt let alone a thank you from him. Everyone makes a difference with respect to the experience.

Living in pine forest country, I enjoy playing open courses like Houston National. Lots of room off the tee. Except for the ongoing renovation of #2, greens and fairways are in excellent shape for mid-August 100+ degree weather and lack of rain for a month or so.

Very relaxing round. Played as a single and barely saw another golfer. Worth the drive off the beaten path. If you plan a trip to Austin from Houston or vice versa, you should plan to stop and play a relaxing round on the way.

Enjoyed a fast round 3 hours which included a 20 wait for a thunderstorm to pass. Greens, fairways and tee boxes in good shape. Nice mix of challenging and relative easy holes. Recommend giving West Fork a try.
