It's a shame that the greens are in such horrible condition and there's an obvious lack in overall supervision of the maintenance staff, because this course could be a gem. The layout is great, the pro shop and snack bar staff are very friendly. I play here weekly in a men's league and for the past couple years I've watched the course conditions continue to slide down hill to the point of being nearly unplayable. Almost every putt is a 'hit and hope' because of holes and lack of grass.

In my mind if you're going to add "National" to your name the course better be special. This is a vanilla course with no definition and slow greens. The price is at or a little above average. I doubt if I'd play it again

Better be able to place your tee shot reasonably close to where you aim. A lot of water. Too bad none of the drinking kind. Typical SW Florida summer day in the 90's and we're looking for drinking water. Finally on the 7th tee box there was a cooler.....empty. 1st there needs to also be one on the 4th tee and 2nd then keep them all filled. I understand most all local courses trim their staff this time of the year, but in this case one of the two guys in h pro shop could easily taken 30 minutes and helped out the maintenance staff by filling them. Other than the lack of water I enjoyed he course and would recommend

Played the tips which brought a lot of trouble into play if your tee shot wasn't reasonably straight. I would have rated the course conditions 5 stars had the greens not been so slow. Would play again

Played this course a number of times in the past few years and always enjoy it. The greens are extremely fast and if you get above the hole you're likely to 3 putt. Some very interesting holes and a very good finishing hole. The fairways have always needed attention so we always play winter rules and roll the ball. Nice restaurant for a sandwich & drink when you finish but unfortunately closed on Sunday's. I'll play again.

I've played this course a number of times over the years and it's probably in the best shape that I've seen it. That being said the only reason I didn't rate it higher was due to the speed of the greens...sloooooow. Also it appeared the cups hadn't been changed in at least 4 or 5 days...some very ragged. Overall I love the course. Two very different 9's The front winds through the trees and some shots are tight. The back is much longer, more open, and if the wind is blowing you're in for a real test. I'll play again and recommend

Wanted to play to work on my iron game. It's a good thing I didn't want to work on my putting game as the greens were horrible. Slow, various types of grass, no grass. Very friendly staff.

My 3rd time playing this course. Although I'm a 9 handicap I've yet to break 90 here. The combination of green undulations, and having to know where to hit your tee shot(also many tight tee shots) make this an unplayable course for many golfers. Also there were a lot of unrepaired fairway divots, and ball marks on greens. I've played courses all over the world including 5 major championship courses and this is the most difficult

Played there about 6 months ago and although it's improved they still have a long way to go just to stay even with the level of quality of the other 4 Lehigh courses. I will say the Pro and staff are extremely friendly

Good tract to work on your iron game. Wife also enjoyed it. Nice staff

Couldn't rate the course 5 stars because the greens were recently punched and collars verticut. That being said the putts rolled reasonably true and semi fast. There's a lot of bunkers to capture your ball both off the tee and greenside. Also quite a bit of water. I'd definitely play it again!

Very enjoyable and playable course. I couldn't give it 5 stars because of the greens. Although they held and putted very well there was a lot of under repair spots. Saying that it didn't detract from the overall playability and I'd definitely return.

Based on prior reviews I had high expectations for this course. If I could I would have rated 3 1/2 stars. Fairways need attention. Greens, although true, were very slow. Very freindly staff. Good value for what we paid, but not worth more than $35, especially in off season

Near perfect course conditions.What prevented me from giving the course 5 stars was a) not being advised in advance on Golf Now it was a par 67 course (5100 from the tips). b) being charged $7.50 for a hot dog on a stale bun after a 10 min wait at the turn.

I there was a block to check between moderate and challenging this course would fit that bill. Well placed bunkers and water hazards await your wayward shot. Greens putted extremely true and rolled an 11. Will play again

A good layout, but needs weed control on fairways. Course has come a long way in past couple years. Would play again if price is competitive.

An executive course(no driver required). Greens were horrible. I didn't putt them in fear of hurting my putting stroke. Back 9 was closed for greens renovation and I was told they are coming along nicely. Very friendly staff

greens were recently verticut so putting was a challange. They were also slow. Bunkers need sand replentishment. Overall the course is in better condition than 3 months ago, but still has a long way to go

Well maintained. This is a thinkers course. Well placed bunkers and water hazards. Greens putted well, but could have been just a little faster. This course has the best collection of par 3's I have ever seen...both picturesque and challenging. One of my favorite SW Florida courses. A must play.

The back 9 has been closed for a number of months for renovation. It recently re-opened, so since I live nearby I decided to give it a try. Hopefully a plan is in place to redo the front as well because the greens are in very bad condition. I like the course layout but the front 9 greens need serious work
