What a year! The improvement to this course are unreal. Much better layout and much better course. Greens are really slow as they are still bedding in. But really good.
Tee boxes need some love but not the worse I have played.
New York Country Club
Played On 08/15/2021Good club - slow pace
The slow pace is probably unusual due to them hosting a large group with multiple four balls. The guys ahead of us were drunk by 9th hole and started messing around and not playing at a quick pace.
The marshal noted it and comped a meal and beers so very positive outcome overall.
Nice staff and very accommodating.just a little pricey but fun nonetheless.

Meadows Golf Club
Played On 12/08/2020Good day but cold
Played at 8:10am in 36 degree weather. Greens were still a little hard but softened towards end of round.
For $35 each with cart you can’t go wrong. Tough course layout but relative easy greens.

River Vale Country Club

Played when it was cold and hardly anyone on the course. Two holes have winter greens as they are repairing those holes (bunkers).
Great course. Had a lot of fun.
Rockleigh Golf Course - Red/White

I am sure the other reviews have some merit. I could see the course could be busy during the nice days of the year. The course is great. Well structured with some challenging holes. We played right after a day and a half of rain. Some fairways were a little moist. Tee boxes were perfect. Greens were fantastic and played well considering the rain we had.
Only negative- we teed off at 1:50 and was told carts had to be in by 4:15. We were fine with that and on the turn we swapped out carts for walking. Fine with us. Not an issue.
Overall we will be coming back to play here again.
