South Course at Big Cypress Golf & Country Club
Played On 02/09/2017Pricey but nice...
The course is in great condition and the greens are probably the best around. Rolling fast but true if you can read them. The only negative is the price to play. If it weren't for the GolfNow opportunity the greens fees would be too steap for my wallet. Shame as this drawback forces me to play elsewhere when at times I would like to play this course which is local.
Willowbrook Golf Course
Played On 02/01/2017Not Bad.....
I would come back to lay again but there are things to comment on. The course had a really nice layout but I would say that the greens were a bit small for a course of this nature (did make it more of a challenge and that isn't all bad) and there was some growth of strange grass in the greens that clearly did not belong there. This grass frequently affected the roll of the ball in a negative way as it caused negative deflection at times. For the most part, the greens were found to be okay though. I also noted that the fairways needed some attention in that there was a large influx of leaves cluttering the area and the condition affected finding balls that were both in the fairway or lying along the lateral areas of the fairways. A general cleanup would have been appreciated. One additional item of concern was that there were no ball washers to be found both at the tee boxes or on the golf carts. We had to resort to the use of drinking water to cleanup ours. In the end, we enjoyed the day out on this course but with a bit of attention in the areas noted this course could achieve a higher rating. Go give it a try......
Links of Sandpiper
Played On 01/19/2017Worth the visit.....
The course was found to be pretty dry but the fairways were fine for play. The greens are a bit small and were found to be blotchy but they were fast and rolled fairly true. Overall, we enjoyed the round and we plan to go back again! One negative is that there are no prominent yardage markers on the fairways and judging the distance to the greens for approach shots was difficult. I hope they address the shortfall at some point.
North Golf Course at Big Cypress Golf & Country Club

Excellent conditions. Due to threat of rain we were alone on the course. If you pay normal rates at the club house the course is over priced. Par 60 executive course. Their par 72 is in even better condition and equally over priced. They do have a real nice club house (bar snd restaurant) and pro shop. The staff is helpful and friendly. If you are watching your funds, with some research, you will find that you will do better elsewhere.
