The front nine is a classic flat tree lined track with small greens. The front 9 is in fair condition.... the bunkers have enough sand and the fairways are not thin. Having played it now, I would take more hybrids off the tees because the approach shots are not long.
Then...... !! The Back 9. What a beautiful and surprising 9. Reminds me of southern US resort courses. The fairways broaden out and the course has wonderfully contoured fairways, bunkers and greens. I’d love to play that Back 9 about 4 times for a day of 36 holes.
I live about 80-85 minutes from the course, and that won’t deter me from playing the course many times in the future.

Bald bunkers made for nervous bunker play from the entire foursome. Come on course management-!!! - put in some sand into those bunkers. That’s ridiculous that one is scraping hard pan on every bunker shot .... Every Bunker Shot. And clean out the rocks too!!! Spend some money and time to fix them up. The entire foursome said ‘forget about coming back here’. Sad.

Number 9 bunker is a disaster - no sand, just hard pan. Fairways a wee bit thin. Greens need some TLC as they are quite worn in many places on most greens. I played the tips and the Par 3’s are a challenge for the 0-10 Hdcp’ers. No Marshall on the Back 9 and the pace dropped off considerably. I’m hoping the course improves over the next few months as I’m likely to try it again in late Feb.

Enjoyable round. Plenty of room off the tee box on the Padre course. Looking forward to playing the Other 18.

Had a 735am tee time and flew around the course. Plays like a standard Phx valley muni (like Ken McD GC or Kokopelli GC ) . Fairways are bit sparse. Greens were ok. For the money, a good deal and pleasant round. Will try again.

If you’re a long hitter, play the Tips because Trouble lurks at many of the doglegs. I played with members and was made to feel very welcome. The greens are well bunkered with some having rollout areas...so you need to be tidy on your approaches. Great practice areas ... spend some time beforehand to prep. Get ready for more ‘break’ on the Playing greens than on the practice green.

Nice layout and green complexes.
You can play this course by laying up and wedging in for your pars or go flat out and shoot great shots direct to the green to score some birdies.

Have played this course 3 times over the last year. Each time a pleasure.
Started off with a great clubhouse sandwich before the round.
Good/OK driving range. Fair chipping practice green.
Fairways in good shape, greens too.
Challenges everywhere.
If you're in Vegas.... PLAY THIS ONE.

I had not played the course for over 8 yrs and almost forgot the entire layout. I am a long hitter and found the course to be an exciting layout with all of the options one had off the teebox .... carry water, fly over trees, play safe down the middle, draw shots into back pins surrounded by trees. It was very fun!! Greens run relatively true to lines selected. The course is not long from the tips (under 5800 yds) but it sure tunes up your accuracy off the tee and your wedge game into the pins. Go play it.

Despite being there on a windy day, quite enjoyed the round. I've played here now 4 times and each time has been very enjoyable. I played with a guy who was likely a 15-23 handicap index (he payed White) and I played tips and we each found the course both fun and challenging. If you are looking to pay here, try finding a rate close to your playing date to get a price at 45-60% of their Base Rate. They have 3 - 9's here and Canyons and Lakes are terrific.... Gotta play the Par 3 third hole on Lakes......one of the prettiest and challenging (especially in wind).
