The greens are in super condition. The fairways are green and well grown in. I've played the course in each of the last seven years. This is the best it has ever been in that time.

Well maintained fairways and greens. Many sand traps have no or very little sand. Their shotgun idea seems to work quite well.

The layout is decent. The traps have adequate amounts of sand. The only thick, nice grass is on the tee boxes. The fairways are turning brown.
The greens are painted green in many places and have a minimum of actual grass. The green roll is bumpy and erratic. There is no visual appeal to the layout. My wife and were disappointed with the course.

This is our third year playing del lago. I love the layout. The fairways are well maintained. The greens are not as good as they used to be. They are rolled very tight with sparse grass in places which makes for bumpy rolls. The staff is very friendly, and at the restaurant we had a very tasty meal.

It is amazing how much the Dell Urich course has been improved. The fairways are completely green with good lies.. The greens are fast and roll true. The rough is dormant grass, which is tough to play out of and a fair penalty for those who can't keep it on the fairway. Congratulations to the city of Tucson for doing such a terrific upgrade to their course.

We played Island/Woodland. The course was in wonderful condition. The greens were not overly fast. There are many traps with lots of sand in each one. There are some hard holes and some birdie holes. It is a good test of golf.

This is a beautiful desert course. There are beautiful views of the Santa Rosa mountains. The course is full of twists and turns. The greens are very fast but well rolled so the ball rolls true. From the in between tees it is not a long course,. Every hole has a chance for a birdie or a high score. You should really make the drive and play this course.

Mountain View is in excellent condition. The fairways are well kept and the greens roll true though a bit slow. It is not a particularly long course but plays hard when the wind blows. This course offers postcard views of the nearby mountains.

The fairways are well maintained. Though surrounded by the desert, the desert doesn't come into play much on the course. The fairways are reasonably wide, and the greens roll pretty true. The course gets a lot of play but it is in nice shape anyway. The holes get progressively harder as the round progresses with the toughest holes on the back nine.

Half the holes are rather straight forward. Half the holes are uniquely original. The greens are very nice but there are many subtle breaks. A few of the holes are tricky and it would help if golfers new to the course played with someone who has been there before. The scenery in the ravine area is terrific. The staff is very welcoming.

There are a number of doglegs and holes of varying length. The fairways give quite a bit of room, and if you stay in them, you can shoot a low score. The greens are not the greatest, and the guys we played with said they have been getting worse lately. My wife and I had fun playing the course.

This is a well maintained course with some challenging holes. It is very flat. Water is in play on a few holes. The fairways are wide enough to give a golfer a good chance to stay out of the desert.

Half the holes are quite challenging. Straight shots on the par fives will yield low scores. Crooked shots will lead to 8's or 9's. This year the fairways are decent, but the greens need work.

Short hitters can score well on this course if the ball is hit straight. Most fairways are tree lined. Water is in play on over half the holes. There are a number of severe doglegs. Greens are smallish and well protected by bunkers...beware the fried egg lie. The greens are not overly fast. This is the kind of course where a golfer should do better every time he/she plays it. It's a challenging course, but if you are hitting them well, you could tear it up.

This course is very forgiving for off target drives. The greens are fairly large with quite a bit of slope. Hole #7 is a risk/reward par 5. It is a fun hole to play. There are long drives between tees and greens.

The course plays fairly easy. The greens are somewhat fast. There are not too many hazards. Some of the greens are elevated and require a good shot to stay on. The course is extremely flat. The people we met were very friendly including the two guys who were paired with my with and me.
