Some confusion on booking (played back nine twice instead of all 18) but course did a pretty good job of providing us with an acceptable solution. All course associates were very friendly and accommodating. Special kudos to the starter Dave. Very few golfers on course (due to work being done possibly?) which made for a great pace overall. Conditions were very good, greens not as quick as they looked, but rolled true. Overall it was an enjoyable round, but really wish we could have played all 18 holes as both GolfNow and the course had originally presented.

Valencia Golf & Country Club
Played On 11/27/2020Same ol', same ol'...
Tee times were backed up approximately 2 to 3 groups and had to wait for most shots on 1st 9, but pace improved dramatically on back 9. Still had to wait on last 4 or 5 holes. Conditions were typical for this course, not great but not the worst. Greens were quick with a few poor areas, but good overall. For this time of year it's as good a value as any public course in Collier County, I suppose.

Stoneybrook Golf Club
Played On 02/16/2018Slow, slow round
I got a late afternoon round figuring to get 10-12 holes in before dark, but got stuck behind some non-golfer tourists and waited on virtually every hole. 2 other groups backed up behind us as well. I wasn't in a hurry, but disappointed to only get 7 holes done in 2 hours. No rangers to help. Fairways and greens were fairly beat up, as most public courses are this time of year in SWFL. I would only recommend as a low-cost alternative course to play.
Hibiscus Golf Club
Played On 12/27/2017Decent layout, decent value
Hibiscus has a good layout and offers a decent value for public golf in SWFL, overall. The course sees a high amount of traffic, as a result. Tee to green it is starting to show. Please don't lose the gains made in recent years regarding course conditions. Tee boxes and bunkers need attention. The clubhouse, restaurant, and staff are very helpful and friendly and add positively to the experience.
Magnolia Landing Golf & Country Club
Played On 04/22/2016Excellent Staff, ordinary course
While enjoyable, the only outstanding feature of this course was the staff. The course layout had a couple interesting holes, conditions were on par with a community courses just coming out of season in SWFL (average) and the greens were quick with a few bad spots but not terrible.
Bonita National Golf & Country Club
Played On 03/26/2015Greens are the highlight
Played Bonita Nat'l for the 2nd time, course is in very good condition with excellent greens. Greens are large and contoured, but usually well guarded and roll very true. Fairways are harder than average, to be expected in a new course. Enjoyed the layout. Staff is very personable and friendly.
Glen Eagle Golf & Country Club
Played On 07/31/2014Summer maintenence
Course was recently punched and verticut, a common condition in SW Fla during the summer maintenance months, but still provided a quick, entertaining round. Clubhouse personnel were excellent.
South/East at Spanish Wells Country Club
Played On 03/14/2014Nice layout
This course has some nice, memorable holes. The fairways are a little tight in spots, but a miss is often in a playable area. The greens were a bit bumpy, but that is to be expected on a course in a golf-centric community at this time of year. The staff was very friendly, but the course was really backed-up and played very slow on this day. There was no on-course beverage service, and the snackshop was less than you might expect with a long line and once you made it to the window there was only one variety of beer available plus a wait for hot food.
Palmetto-Pine Country Club
Played On 03/12/2014Decent value course
Palmetto-Pine is a decent value and has an enjoyable layout. The conditions of the greens are good, with some issues tee to green but nothing terrible. Staff is friendly and facility is somewhat dated, and on this particular day there were a number of groups getting backed up in the afternoon, so play was a bit slow.
Consistently good
This course is consistently fun to play and in very good condition. The people at Raptor Bay put an emphasis on providing helpful, friendly service and really add to the experience.
TPC Treviso Bay
Played On 1/09/2013Great grass, great greens....
In my opinion, one of the finest courses in SWFL. The paspalum fairways are great, and the greens are close to perfect. The layout is excellent as well, beautiful holes with just the right amount of challenge to keep the round interesting. The only shortcomings of this course are the facililities: the clubhouse is an unfinished skeleton awaiting completion. The pro-shop and 'snack-shop' are temporary, and as such are left somewhat lacking. The inside staff is as cordial as they have to be (no more), outside staff are very accommodating. The driving/chipping/putting range is also very nice, commensurrate with the rest of the course. In summary, this course is a real treat, and I would play it every week if I could afford it.
Heritage Bay Golf and Country Club - Pine Course
Played On 11/30/2012Cypress/oak at Heritage Bay
Full staff available-from cart/bag personnel to proshop staff to starters and rangers were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Course was in great shape, especially the greens, which provide most of the challenge on this course with their undulations and pin placements. Played on a full day, but had no issues with pace of play. Overall, a very enjoyable round of golf.
TwinEagles Golf & Country Club - Eagle Course
Played On 10/31/2012This course has some interesting character.
The Eagle is fairly challenging, with large, undulating greens that are quick, but roll true. The course also features a number of well-placed bunkers and for fun, a very driveable par 4. Be careful, though, hitting the green is the easy part.
We love hearing about our golfers' experiences, joerainman. Please tell us more about what you enjoyed during your round. Thanks for choosing Panther Lake at Orange County National!
