Sugar Lake Lodge - Sugarbrooke Golf Course
Played On 07/31/2014A great day on this hardwood course
This course is in great condition. The front nine is long and a bit boring; whereas the back is narrow and reclined. Overall, a great challenge.
San Ignacio Golf Club
Played On 11/23/2013This course has always been a favorite, but...
The greens are in poor condition with areas in the fairways suffering from the neglect of a number of years.
Minnesota National Golf Course - Championship Course
Played On 7/24/2013A gem in pristine condition.
Another Goldstrand designed course in the best condition. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are worthy of play by average or better golfers. The course is challenging in length and layout. The golfer needs to be straight with drives, play shots from the fairways with intelligence, and putt the true greens with care. I found myself challenged on every hole.
Torres Blancas Golf Club
Played On 4/10/2013Fair challenging course.
The course is in the best shape of the year. The wind always presents on the last four holes.
Quail Creek Golf Club - Coyote/Road Runner Course
Played On 1/31/2013Slow Play on Quail Course. Ranger needed!
I like the course but waiting kills rhythm. Other than slowness of play, the course is terrific.
Country Club of Green Valley
Played On 1/23/2013Great course for a flat area.
Fun to play and easy to score well. Many great features including fabulous, well-cared for bunkers; left and right dog legs; many tee options, manicured greens, and an excellent practice area.
Haven at Haven Public Golf Club
Played On 12/09/2012Great Course
A great course: Fairways above average, greens consistent; but bunkers lack sand.
Kino Springs Golf Course
Played On 12/05/2012Best Conditions of courses in the area.
This course is perfect for those that want a challenge. Wayward shots are heavily penalized. The greens are fast and true with a minimum of damage due to ball marks. Compliments to the staff on the fairways, greens and traps.
Canoa Ranch Golf Club
Played On 11/28/2012Nice Course but not anything special
I always enjoy the vistas of this course. The condition of the fairways are great; however, some of the greens are pocked due to lack of repair of ball marks. I believe all golfers should be reminded of their responsibility to repair their ball marks on greens. The bunkers need sand!
Rio Rico Golf Club
Played On 10/29/2012The Course is a super layout.
This course had been just opened after overseeding; therefore, it still had not been mowed to regular length. The Coot problems were not evident as was the case when the northern ducks fly down (scat everywhere). The greens were not in great shape...bumps and dead patches. The beauty of the course makes up for the criticism...but the coot scat of last winter reminds a test.
